Offroading ka diploma , degree main isi channel se seekh rha hu . All the videos are awsum , but this particular video is purely educational , great explanations , thankyou sir and team 👍
This is by far the most satisfying off-roading video review. Truly made for the cars in a way to pump out every drop of features they all possess. Unlike other reviews where a 4WDs r being driven on highways ONLY !!! But sadly, most owners just prefer sitting at the back. Very few owners like in this video who do justice and take their cars for such an exam. One small suggestion sir. In every case, Toyota was kept last to attend the hurdle. So I felt, after multiple attempts in different cars on the same surface, they dig out everything and make a harder track for the fortuner to attend. So maybe next time you might wanna randomise the cars. 😊
Ford Endeavour comes with an Active Centre differential, the car choses when to engage 4wd, and how much power goes to front diff. Driver has no way to lock 4wd.
Video and expert comments have helped in deciding the car out of fortuner and endeavour. I bought fortuner automatic because of low maintenance and value for money. Thanks Anshuman and friends !!
Now thats an amazing video. Is Endy’s TC even working at least i dont feel so. Another observation here is most of the the obstacles were forst attempted by endy which made it more difficult for the fort. None the less both cars are evenly matched in AT variants. But i will still put my money on a manual Fortuner whenever its time to make the next move.
Very clear point . If u want an SUV with more on road drive, simply choose an endeavour 2.2 titanium automatic as 3.2 seems an overkill with difference on the 2 engines is visible only past 130 kmph and 3.2 costs a bomb over the 2.2. Maintenance of a 3.2 4x4 will also be more and fuel economy also takes a toll. In my opinion, manual cars r better then automatic cars when pure off roading is concerned as shown in this video . If off road consists of more than 30% of the total driver than a fortuner 4x4 manual will be the best bet.
There is no center diff because its a part time 4wd now, proper 4x4 when offroading, 2wd when not offroading. Endeavour on the other end has an active center diff, electronics decide when and how much power the front diff will get, works great mostly, but sometimes misjudges . Driver has no control over center diff.
What a video sir really loved it.... Sometimes it's the car which takes the driver but everytime it's the driver who takes the car.. And you are the best of all sir hat's off to u.....
I also very confused between these two suv which one should buy.People do not face like these type of obstacles in daily life .so,sir please suggest me which one should better to buy which have a more comfort drive.
Hi Anshuman and team, another great video. Though I like endeavour a lot and specs sound better, atleast to me it looks like fortuner struggles a bit less than the endy. And vcross is doing its best i suppose with open diff, will share it in the vcross group..
Good to see SuZie, the MH Endy back in action. What a thorough comparison. At the end of the day it comes down to a heart brain fight. The brain says TFort while the heart longs for Endy :). It feels damn good to see SUV owners putting their machines to full use. A great video Anshyuman sir.
Loved the video, but the biggest bottleneck with endy 3.2 is that it is a guzzler. While my uncle new fortuner gives fuel efficiency of around 10 in the city and highway is around 13. 1 thing is ASSURED if you are a more logical pragmatic buyer and looking for peace of mind fortuner is the one for you, while if you re the one who goes with your heart and emotions its the endy that TAKES the lead.
Well nice work anshuman sir i m a big fan of ur videos...I found endeavour more better buy because basically people don't do much off roading and it offers a 3.2 litre engine which is better than Fortuner but I found that Fortuner looked better in terms of off roading...Well anshuman sir thanks for posting this interesting video.
Very nice comparison, and is actually meaningful that not anybody with a phone and Internet can generate such a class leading comparison. I guess It is the only video of true offloading comparison of these two cars on you tube which I have seen so far. Worth watching. Thanks for this
Awesome comparison! Keep up the amazing job. Question. Please confirm if traction control in the endeavour is not cancelled when 4 low and rear diff lock is activated?
There are two levels of traction control in these cars, engine tcs and brake tcs. Engine tcs has to be off else it cuts down all the power, brake tcs has to be on as it brakes the free spinning wheel. I personally ensured both cars were in right modes and correct technique was adhered to. I drove on some of the trickier obstacles.
Endy ruined the 3rd obstacle and the fortuner was kept last.. or else the ATRAC would’ve made it easily.. that’s what i feel.. Anyway superb video as always👍🏼
in a country of the blind (open diffs), the one eyed men (partial diff locks/uneven traction control) rule the roost. Its ironic that in a nation plagued with roads where you actually might need TCs and DLs to get you out of ditches, the only vehicle that actually offers them is the Force Gurkha. And we all know what kind of power there is under the hood. The important argument though is that traction control is the way of the future. Differential locks are great but they limit steering movement. On the other hand, just apply the brake on the wheel with least traction and route the power to the others. Thats what TC does, and its brilliant.
Gurkha is a Dinosaur, makes no sense in today's age and time. I agree Diff locks require advanced driving skills, else one can end up with a repair bills running into lakhs in no time. However for people who know their stuff nothing like Diff locks, our group is slowly moving towards aftermarker diff locks, 2 of the cars have already got Airlockers(testing this weekend) and other like me are next in queue. It is amazing how much difference a well tuned traction control can make, and it requires no extra hardware, any ESP/TCS equipped car can use the same hardware for active traction control. And top of it all, it requires no special skills to operate traction control.
For that same reason TC is the way of the future, just like automatic transmissions are getting better and better. In fact, hard core 4x4 enthusiasts now prefer automatics over manual, and the same would eventually go to diff locks. However, for a purist, the classic age of the automobile is where he'll go. Even I love the mechanical wonders of the diff locks and those two levers that activate them. Some things should never change
This is the true comparison between two real SUV. Amazing video sir and I guess fortuner is quite overpriced and lack some features. Endeavour performed every task quite beautifully.
even i perefer the endeavour over the fortunner . but the only thing that gets me double minded is the below average traction control system . at many instances i have seen one the front wheels spinning endlessly without tranfering any torque to the other coz of which i have seen the Endy struggling even with rear diff locks on ( i have also seen same thing happening to Everests in australia ) so my question is , isnt installing an Arb locker in the front diff the solution to this one flaw that Endy has . i think with front diffs installed and factory fitted rear diffs Endy will be an unstoppable Suv along with all the other off roading features it comes with . so is it advisable to install a front diff lock ??
Almost all cars here come with IFS(Independent front suspension), which is relatively much less robust and has less abuse taking ability compared to front Solid Axle equipped 4x4's. Now with IFS, using locker on front axle will require high levels of expertise, even then the risk of damage will too high. The CV Joints, Tie end joints, the diff assembly rupture in no time....the damage can run into lakhs in no time. Even usage of rear diff lock requires a lot of precautions, the reason no manufacturer is interested in giving it as OE option in India(Endy OE rear diff lock has electronic overrides to prevent damage, this kind of override can also result in unpredictable behaviour, diff lock not available when you need it the most). Both the Fortuner and Endeavour are very capable in stock form, to outperform the capability of the cars requires good skills or foolishness. I wouldn't recommend modifications on Endeavour anyways, the electronics are just too complex.
Very nice video. They seem neck to neck in Auto-Transmission variants. Like we have said earlier as well, as a product, Endy is a superior package, but on some trails Billi has upper hand, primarily due to superior tuning of TC and slight advantage of weight (remember in offroad, every single kilo counts).
Another awsome video, now this is answer to most of on going queries on off-road capabilities of New Endy vs New Fort. IMHO Endy as a overall package, T Fort for reliability and peace of mind
I have seen all your videos and I think in some previous videos endeavour's traction control was doing good, it was a white endeavour, I think there is some issue with this endeavour's traction system
Haha Fortuner have alot better electronic setup, active traction control of fortuner works like differential .. it just be low on features than endeavour but on offroading front fortuner is always a better machine than endeavour and talk about Toyota reliability.. it's not a joke that ford have really poor and expensive after sales service!
Both cars are very good but apart from india the endeavour is the only car for off road abilities, ergonomic look, and not at all cheap cost comparing to others in this segment.. In indian market they reduce the price slightly.. Fortuner is reliable only in India apart from that doesn't come with features what we spend.. And the build quality is poor at this price range.. Comparing to new fortuner old is bold and good..
Hello sir you should also explain that on different terrains how should we drive, engaged gears and momentum etc. that will be helpful to us novices. Thank you 😊 🙏
Hi Anshuman you have become off road messiah man !!! you sound like walking encyclopedia on off roading. So much to learn from you.The only thing which I would suggest is to change the terrain. Now this sandy off roads seems repetitive.
Well I could clearly make from the Video that you people were more biased towards Fortuner and finding reasons to better off the fortuner where as in real Life scenarios Endeavour is a way better off roader than Fortuner .... We have an opinion because we have spent time offroading, not because my Uncle owns xxx car or my neighbour owns yyyy or I read something on CarFeku.com TYPING IN CAPITAL DOES NOT ADD ANY WEIGHT TO THE POINT. I feel the Endeavour is little bit better..💓 But i love the design of Fortuner
I am very impressed by the endeavour's performance. great improvement over the last generation, looks and off-road capability both have improved.
The main concern for the Ford Endeavour is the extra 200kg weight upon its rival Fortuner.
7:12 if u r driving endeavour on 4 × 4 mode...and giving full throttle...why arent those two front wheel spinning?????
Ford Endeavour comes with an Active Centre differential, the car choses when to engage 4wd, and how much power goes to front diff. Driver has no way to lock 4wd.
@@Anshyuman Isn't that similar to an AWD system?

Hey Anshuman, is it possible to review the new endeavour bs6. Wanted to check how it runs with the 2.0 engine and TMS checks..
Very clear point .
If u want an SUV with more on road drive, simply choose an endeavour 2.2 titanium automatic as 3.2 seems an overkill with difference on the 2 engines is visible only past 130 kmph and 3.2 costs a bomb over the 2.2.

For you information- Endeavour 2.2 is no longer available in 4x4 version, neither in Automatic nor in Manual.
@@Anshyuman that's why I prefer 2.2 endy for onroad purposes .
Suspension tuning is also more biased for highway purposes.
Most awaited Video....😍 👌👌👌👌👍👍 Thank you Bishnoi ji
And what about the central diff lock in fortuner??
Is it discontinued in the new model??
There is no center diff because its a part time 4wd now, proper 4x4 when offroading, 2wd when not offroading.
Endeavour on the other end has an active center diff, electronics decide when and how much power the front diff will get, works great mostly, but sometimes misjudges . Driver has no control over center diff.

Ninad Patil build quality and toughness it’s ford , for long run or reliability it’s Toyota . What I believe and experienced.
