Fake vs Real Football Shirt Comparison!

- Today we're taking a look at two LFC 23/24 football shirts. One is authentic and from the official Liverpool football club shop, the other comes from a website called ZVbest that sells fake copies of football shirts. Is there really much difference except for a massively higher price tag???

From my experience, I can say that fake player's version looks more similar to the actual ones, as the logos are made of rubber and not embroidered, so the only difference would be in the positioning but texture wise is the same.

Definitely correct I get the player version 2 sizes up and they are on point, like he said positioning may be the only slight issue but in terms of materials and badges, perfect.
@@Banproofrule of thumb with player version is to size up
The only noticeable difference was the LFC badge, which is quite complex to stitch. They usually do a better job with simpler crests
I have several other Liverpool ones where the crest is much better to be fair, but in this like for like comparison it happened to be a particularly bad crest.
@@BanproofIt's beginning of the season, it always happens with the first batches. If you order in November/December you're guaranteed to get a much better quality batch.
Man the nike tick looks better on the fake 😂 but logo gives it away
Ive bought fake ones this last 2 or 3 years (I was boycotting Ashley until 2021). I still resent paying such a lot for something that only lasts 10months before a replacement is introduced each summer.
I prefer replica retros that are officially from the club, so that they get a contribution. Part of our problems are that Castore are pisspoor at supplying the shops anyway.
Next season, we will be with Adidas, so no doubt a fan shirt will jump from £65 to around £80, so folk will probably want to get bootlegged products for less than half.
Has been said before, but if clubs weren't quite so greedy in doubling the price & halving a shirt's shelf life, then fans wouldn't buy the counterfeits
I can understand why people would buy a fake the only ones i have are from 25 years ago with no brand badging so obvious fakes. Here in NZ to buy a new football top is around $140-170 depening on brand plus if its screenprinted you can add close to 30 bucks on top of that now im older & wiser i either wait till sales or end of season were i could get one for $100 or if i really want one i wait for a clearance sale from Classic Football Shorts & pick up 1or 2 & i can usually get them here for under $120 including postage.
But some people who live in poorer countries than me a £25 jersey is all they can afford

I know everyone is saying the badge was a give away but also the nike tick itself the stitches side to side whereas the real is up to down
It's the standard chartered printing position, if it's a bit lower, it's the real one.
I thought the one on the right was fake but like you say is there a such a big difference between paying 80 quid to paying 16 quid I know fake suppliers pay there workers peanuts but nike have also been accused of the miss treatment of the workers so its up to us I will always buy fakes as I carnt afford 80 to 110 for genuine shirts
Yeah it’s massive increase in price for the legit ones… can’t fault people buying fakes. I think for “my teams” (Inter and LFC) I’d buy official each season, but for just nice shirts that I’d wear on stream or UA-cam, or just during summer when it’s hot etc… the fake ones are more than good enough! I’ve been looking at Zvbest and I have been wondering what does the size chart convert to. Because the conversion from cm to inches don’t add up.
I normally wear a 2xl. Which is a 48.5 to 53.5 chest in inches.
I think they just measure the width of the shirt on one side rather than all around the chest if that makes sense, like they measure armpit to armpit on one side. I wear a L in official shirt and bought these in a 2XL which fits a little looser than my L official shirts do. Hope that makes sense and helps.

Yeah there’s definitely like a richness to the real one. Like the material just reflects the light different or something.
I can tell by the color on the real one is like stronger red
What about the inner Nike small tag ? Is the on both ? I was thinking that was a clear difference ?
The inside labels are totally different and the real one has like the worlds biggest labels on the left side towards the bottom, but I was only really comparing them on the outside as that’s all you’d see when wearing them.
Main issue I've had is the fakes are smaller, I'm fat and wear the 3XL, fakes always seem to be XL/2XL so no good for me😪😪😪

I Bought a Liverpool jersey yesterday from India for about 8 dollars and the official one is for about 57 dollars on Nike website. I swear no one could spot the difference. But it's just worth the price

I would check the size guides on the website which has been accurate for me. I normally wear an L in authentic but the fake is an XXL and pretty much the same size as an L authentic, maybe a tiny bit bigger.

Yes so there 2 option as 1, just before you about to purchase the jersey from the shop, you want to ask employee for name printed and then they will do it for you
And 2 which is the probably the easier way and hassle free is to go on official club website and there will be option to add printed name

I’m not sure but I’d imagine most of the club shops ship worldwide. Check the manufacturers sites such as Adidas, Nike etc too. I’ve def seen on videos people finding shirts in adidas and Nike stores in malls and stuff as well.
I think the dead giveaway was the stitching on the badge. The real one is more well done than the fake one when it comes to the badge
Yeah on this specific the badge is pretty bad, the other LFC shirt I had in a previous video was much better. But I guess that’s the gamble with these… some are going to be fine, others are not.

official home kit ('stadium' version; aka looser fitting fan version, not 'match' version $$) are Made in Georgia ... not 🇺🇸 state lol, the Eastern European country
Clone jerseys have become a problem that can be fixed for clubs, but they don't give much of a damn. I usually go for the retro clone ones 😂 it's a big qin for the fans and a big L for the respective club you support 🤷🏽♂️

Use a tape measure and measure yourself and then look at the size chart on the ZVbest site. That’s the only way to know for sure.

Yeah it’s sent by like China Post or something and then handled by Royal Mail once it gets to the U.K.

Honestly if you can't tell the difference you are probably poor and haven't had the real deal in your life... sorry. I spend the extra for the legit ones but I just don't buy every jersey every year. Simple budgeting.
