You are pressing it for a long time that's why roti is becoming hard. Keep the dough after kneading for at least half an hour covering it with a moist cloth. While making the balls take a little more time so that there remains no air bubble in it. Surely your roti will be better. Steel container does not keep roti hot, use aluminium foil or hot pot. After making the roti, put it in a hot pot and cover it immediately. If your roti doesn't become soft, I will change my name. Best of luck.

I have heard the good reviews too. And, so far...in this video, she didn't use the machine correctly. It is not well cooked on one side. And, also she was supposed to keep the lid a little up.

My wife and daughter have been making it successfully for the past 4, 5 years daily. Lot of videos are there in youtube. Learn it and do. After my wife found useful, my daughter learned from her and using it daily. Only 3 times they flip. They leave the dough aside for 1 or two hours hours. The rotis are soft and fluffy. So fast and easy also.
Which brand of roti maker you're using?
@@MisbahQureshi_ # I have National( Delhi make) and my daughter has Naaptol. Any reputed brand in your area you can buy confidently. The technique the consistency of the dough and using the soft after 2, 3 hours are the most important. Lot of demos for making soft fluffy chapathis with roti maker are available in UA-cam.. Dont make it immediately after making the dough is most important.

It is not waste... Atleast you can save time to roll when you get so many guest at home. I found its useful. We can do remaining work on gas stove.

Some experimenting with atta consistency and the pressure to apply when initially flattening the pedhaa is needed. Seems like the product is successfull but should also be provided with a tutorial on how best to use it effectively. As such it isn't fair to call this a waste product.

First of all, you are very Veru beautiful... I recently bought roti maker of Boss brand ( week before). I have same experience of yours... I also feel it's waste of money.. It's tight and hard to chew... Also I laughed at last part of video😆 .. You pulled roti maker with roti 😉.
Turant bna k khao yr....half an hour bad to har roti achi ni lgti h....it saves more lpg and use less electricity
First plug in and open the roti maker and pre heat for 5 mins until light go off after that ..press your dough...after 10 sec turn it do it 2 times after that see how it comes fluffy...dont spread wrong message if you dont know before doing practice and analyse...dont put nonsense videos...

I think you have to compare it with roti made by mom......That is very soft.......It cannot replace this roti maker......I jave used your method also but still it is Not that worth....Also we donot use oil in dough as it is unhealthy....This addition of oil is not shown in promotional videos as preparation of dough is not shown
Also Teflon coating used in This roti maker is now getting banned in india....as it is proved to cause cancer.......This Teflon coating in very minute portion goes into food when heated and this causes cancer in the body.Brother,I was also using it for 6 months but then i learned the Traditional way of cooking and scrapped these types of products....Its completely my opinion.....You can take your call......No offence

My mom had brought this 20yrs back....it was not good for rotis but you can make khakra, and sabji sandwich...the bread roasts very well and sabji also does not come out which eating...and bread also presses and becomes thin...I recommend this for sandwich ...but it's a big no for rotis

I also bought this product (prestige company) 3 years ago but after making chappatis for dinner (only once) i stopped using it because it does not taste like chappati and then i packed it in box and putted inside bed..... Totally waste of money. Don't know how it is available in market
Sister my experience is also just same as yours but there is a little difference but that makes no change ofcourse.Roti maker ki bani hui roti tight tabhi hoti hai jab usme hi beli gyi ho..agar khud bhel k dali gyi ho to phir wo roti normal roti jaisi rehti hai...lekin baat wahi hai ki jab hm peda bana le aur bel bhi le to phir tawa hi kyu na use kar le...to iska jawab sirf ye hai ki roti maker is only an alternate of LPG..tb use kijiye jb gas na ho.

Actually problem is not in machine problem is you don't know roti making flip the roti only and three time ...when you put first wait till it baked downside and then flip it and let it baked till it baked.

Very few person like you to informed about cheating products
In advertisements,all companies show the dough which is made with using oil....but they donot disclose it....Adding oil to dough makes it soft....but that cannot be done at home as it is unhealthy.I have also bought roti maker.But it is waste of money due to 2 reason- First roti is very hard and second Non stick pans uses a Teflon which is a cancer causing substance and hence banned in many countries.

But oil is not bad if you use COLD PRESSED oil
coconut oil is the best
All refined oil are very very bad for health

Sabse pahle roti ko ache se pakaye madam ji. Dusri bat yah ki aapne hair ko band kr aata gunde. Inn sab machine ki jarurat aap ko hai. Hum log to job karte huye bhi tawa pr hi roti banate hai khate hai or khilate hai.

24 years ago, I bought a 4 stroke motorcycle. The brand name was not that much famous. People mocked me a lot and I just told them that the company is not so stupid that they started a multi-crore motorcycle plant just to lose me a few thousand and curse them. First of all learn how make a roti...u r just flipping the roti in a second after u press it ..try it on tava...it will give you the same result...give it some time before doing the first flip...if foundations are not right it will create a mess for sure...
