For question 12, the correct answer should be macrophages, proteins NOT macrophages, antibodies. Because helper T cells activate B cells, which then produce antibodies. Antibodies are a part of the third line of defense.

Thank you Esty. These are good basic review science questions. I did take a free timed practice test where the science questions were a lot more challeging than Smart Edition.
I took my teas and sadly failed . This exam left me with more questions than answers , I studied my butt off for anatomy and nothing I studied for was on the exam . Not a single questions about the heart , lungs , digestion, you make it was not on there . The reading was difficult and confusing I got passages dealing with solar panels & chimney birds ( which I’ve heard others say they struggled with those passages too) the test was a mess . I studied soooo hard & 90% of the stuff I studied was not on the actual TEAS. I used the yellow and it was of little help Any suggestions
I’m sorry...the TEAS does have a lot of tough critical thinking questions. And I personally feel science and reading are the most difficult sections in that respect (and I know a bunch of others feel the same way!) My thought is that it might be helpful to try out a study course that offers video lessons as well as practice questions & a bunch of practice tests. At least for me, the most helpful thing in preparing was doing a ton of practice questions and taking practice tests, and after taking a practice test, I’d write down all the topics that were a struggle for me. Then, I would go and watch videos & tutorials, study flash cards, and do practice questions to understand those concepts better. Smart Edition has a great online course and Nurse Hub does as well. The questions in this video were from the Smart Edition resource, to give you an idea of what those questions would look like. Each time you take the TEAS, you’re given a different set of questions. They do weight your grade on the TEAS based on how difficult the questions are that you receive. Glad you found some resources! Definitely lmk what you think of the Smart Edition academy. I’ve had good experience myself.
From my understanding, the most prominent conclusion scientists have come to is that the amygdala and hippocampus (temporal lobe) and cerebellum are the key players in long term memory. The frontal cortex plays a role in memory, but not as key in long term memory, so answer B would be more accurate than answer A.
I have a question. To me, the difficulty of chemistry does not match since in the chemistry part they teach you basic chemistry such as atoms and chemical reaction yet in the macromolecules part they use ways more complex chemical terms such as carboxyl group carbon chains, and phosphate group. Do I need to dig more deeply into those complex chemistry parts on my own?

If you have written this exams more than two 2x my advise is to recommend to Mr Felix , Mr Felix can be of help. Felix is (CNO)in USA I was recommended by my grandmother who is now a retired nurse in UK ,it was just easy going if you can meet his requirements contact him on Gmail or WhatsApp to assist you

These are good questions and answers but I think you should have done 5 Q&A at a time instead of all 20 questions and then all 20 answers
