Thank you for uploading lots of great questions. Can I ask why ventricles are not the answer for the pulmonary circulation part? I believe there are right ventricles to move the low oxygenated blood to the lungs, which are pulmonary circuits.
Hi, so sorry for taking so long to respond. You are also right, THE RIGHT VENTRICLE PUMPS UNOXYGENATED BLOOOD TO THE LUNGS AND IS PART OF THE PULMONARY CIRCUIT. I WILL GO AHEAD AND PIN THIS COMMENT SO OTHERS CAN SEE. THANK YOU!:)
@@thetutor_geek I passed the test yesterday. Your contents were helpful a lot to check if I am going in a right direction. I’d like to say, “Thank you.”
This is unreal. When I think I am familiar with the info, there is another year of high school worth. If you have to learn this all on your own, what do they teach you in school? This test makes me want to rethink another career route lol.
The TEAS test is difficult but totally doable. It’s all about approaching it with the right strategy. If you think this is difficult, nursing school is 10x as hard.
Thank you for just hopping into the video. I know an intro is helpful sometimes but often too wordy so I appreciate you getting straight to the information!!!!
I had a question: "Which of the following is the role of the Prostate gland?" Why wouldn't it be A) Produces testosterone. Thank you so much for this resource!
The prostate gland does not directly produce sperm, the testes do. The prostate gland produces the substance that adds to the mobility of sperm. Helps them swim
The Tutor Geek, At 3:56, what does elimination of carbon dioxide have to do with excess of hydrogen ions? Are they involved in cellular respiration together? The explanation was about carbon dioxide, but I'm still unsure about how hydrogen ion's excess can cause that. Thanks in advance!
Hi When there is excess hydrogen ion in the blood, bicarbonate ions combine with the hydrogen ions to form carbonic acid . this carbonic acid breaks down into water and CO2 .the co2 is expelled from lungs through gas exchange. If co2 is elevated more than likely H+ will be low and if H+ is elevated then co2 will be low. I hope this helps.
Can anybody confirm that the TEAS 7 is this much in detail?? I have mine tomorrow, have been studying for a month, and didn’t know most of these.. most of this wasn’t on the TEAS study manual/guides. Wish I would’ve found this channel sooner now I’m stressing🫠
