Thank you, I appreciate your comment! That area has so much natural beauty that it’s hard not to capture it. With a little rain, though, the fishing there would be on fire!
I was literally fishing that spot “twin rock” or “split rock” as some call it a few hours ago. Had to go real small, size 20s. Caught a bunch there last week also.
I got there right at the tail end of the hatch. If I’d have been there earlier in the day, I think it would’ve been a fantastic outing with the size 20 Parachute Adams. As it was, I still did pretty well for only about an hour and a half or so to fish. Hope you did well there today!
I remember when that area was all bait....better quality now and bigger fish. Sugar back in the day was mostly big browns as was Chappel. Is it April yet??? Lol
@@leehiggins6468 well that makes more sense, lol! Yes, I have. I wrote an article about it on the website. darkskiesflyfishing.com/post/east-branch-tunungwant-creek/
Encouraging, Ralph! Thanks for posting!
Thanks Kevin!

Very informative video. Kinzua has definitely been a challenge this year with the low flows. You did a good job of capturing the streams beauty!

my camp is up that way.... fish that stream often... i like the run just below those big rocks
That’s a nice spot, too! Every time I fish Kinzua Creek, I’m always impressed by how many good pools and runs there are throughout the DHALO.
damn that looks like such a gorgeous forest. what a spot.
It’s one of my favorite spots on the whole creek!
Is that the delayed harvest area?
Yes, that’s the DHALO, just downstream from the covered bridge.

Many good times on that stretch. Lots of big browns
“That is so close to being right, without being right.”
I’m going to be quoting that often.
Not gonna lie, kind of the motto for my life! Thanks for watching!

I can’t catch a trout on 1 fly and you caught them on 5!
Lol, thanks for watching!
Do they stock that in the fall
Yes, they do. It was just stocked a couple weeks ago. Water is mighty low, but lots of fish in there!
