Subedi served as the United Nations Special Rapporteur for human rights in Cambodia from 2009 to 2015, playing a crucial role in exposing and addressing human rights violations. He has advised both the British government and the Government of Nepal on international law matters and has been a prominent figure in various international legal bodies, including the International Law Association, where he held leadership roles. Subedi's global contributions have earned him numerous accolades, such as an honorary Queen's Counsel (QC) appointment in the UK and the highest state honor from the King of Nepal.
