is possible to make a script that catches the target position and the projectile start position and angle and calculate the power? I made many calculations and nothing works!

hey, I'm working on a 3d scene. I'm trying to implement a surface to surface missile strike situation. Im new to game development, and not sure how I would get the missile to launch and then hit a ground target many kilometres away. Would you have any idea ?
