    I don't know why I got emotional watching this one. But as you were chipping away at the concrete, and exposing the original floor, I starting thinking abt the fact that your convent is as old as the country, America, I live in. Seeing you bring it back to its original beauty is beautiful. Thank you Billy Petherick.

    Wow! Just wow. I can’t help wondering what the nuns were feeling when they stepped through the door and ascended the staircase for the first time, 250 years ago. They would have seen the beamed ceiling, and possibly the granite floor. The scent of new wood and plaster….and we are getting this little glimpse of their past as you take the convent into the future. Thank you, Billy, and team, for this journey full of past echoes and new dreams.

    I generally hate demolitions. In program after program they attack some beautiful old house or chateau and instead of saving them, they turn them into bare shells filled with modern... Not so here. .
    Other than your charming selves, I really love how you reveal her true bones and reinstate this magnificent building! A pleasure from day one! ❤❤❤

      The music for the working-ethos/-epos is greate! It' like watshing a natural spectacle (river/ waterfall evolving). Its creats harmony and shows ebb and flow of this building structure in the infinity of life. Very poetic picturs!

    These buildings and grounds couldn't ask for better people to help bring out the best in what they are and can be. Love seeing the progress and truly hope to visit it one day. Bravo!!!     Billy! The staircase needs the window! Maybe if you find a stained glass window at an antique store? It would bring a beautiful look to the stairs.

      Billy covered this in the last couple of videos. It too high on the wall for one level, and too low on the next level. It falls right at the landing area.

    Billy, you need to invest in a bigger jackhammer. You need a taller jackhammer so you don't have to bend over as much to save your back. The process you have made is just amazing. The staircase is beautiful.

    I love what your doing by bringing it back to its original glory ❤ . I am sitting here thinking about the stone floor, how many people walked across it before it was covered.. again thank you. An after thought… like the wagon ruts in Pompeii, It just touches me in away that’s deeply somewhat moving.

    Everyone should wear head gear to block sound from the jack hammer. It can cause hearing damage, especially inside a building. And everyone needs saftey glasses for flying chips. The floor is so awesome!

    So love the music, just puts you in the mood for discoveries and demolition, that Yanis (and Steve) are demo machines, though the sledge looks like it weighs as much as Yanis, they look like they're having as much fun as you Billy...that floor is gonna be so much fun to add furnishings to...sledge on boyz...!

    I click-stopped immediately on my first screening to contemplate how beautiful this kitchen has become from the lighting to the different choices you have made of beautiful disparate antiques to the brass of pots pans and chandeliers, the spectacular espresso machine, the richness of all cabinetry and all those lovingly applied coats of oils, creating an ambiance of religious culinary creativity. What a feat! Bravo! I see already a 5 star et chateaux for your masterwork in progress❤🍍🍀

    Hello, in places where the concrete is directly on the granite and a stain remains, you can dissolve it with low-percent hydrochloric acid or concentrated vinegar. But be careful and protect yourself.

    you should try to find a farmer who could take the debris for you to make backfill, this would avoid the constraints of the dump

    Is it possabile to find someone who could use ground penetrating radar to tell you what might be below the granit slabs? Just a thought. The room looks so much bigger now that all the concrete is removed. You all work so hard. Thank you for taking us along.
