Fragrance really the only thing that is keeping the beauty industry fun rn and this was definitely a fun vid to remind how fragrance is carrying the industry 😩😌
Love the way you describe perfumes and candles, you make me wanna get everything on the list! Thanks for helping me discover new scents to add to my growing collection 😆
You have such great recommendations! We have similar taste in perfume so I can’t wait to try out these suggestions. Hopefully you’ll keep doing perfume videos!
Just wondering with the candles - do they burn well or do they start to tunnel? I would expect if they’re expensive they would burn as they should but I know that’s not always the case.
Hi, that’s a great question! All of the candles I mentioned here burn well and don’t tunnel. I am pretty particular about these things as tunneling can really depend on how one uses the candle (as I’m sure you already ☺️) Some things I try to remember to avoid tunneling: - Make sure the first burn is a good one. Give it time to pool and melt to all sides of the candle so it starts out with an even melt. - Trim wicks to prevent the wick from mushrooming or bending off-center. - Make sure each burn lasts long enough to pool the wax to the edges (i.e. don’t burn for just a few mins). I forgot my usually spiel on candle safety so thanks for reminding me to share this!
I have, and I really like it! I keep it by my desk actually and use it as a hand lotion. It's not as strongly scented as the perfume obviously but it makes a nice clean hand cream scent.
I just discovered Dedcool Milk and I'm obsessed! Also just wanted to give a rec for a amazing gourmand vanilla scent. I wasn't particularly in love with the Nest Golden Nectar and Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa each on their own but if you combine them the scent is irresistible 🤌
I have had the bois de balincourt for at least a year now and I just can’t tell if it’s for me! I wear it when I need some confidence, but I feel like it’s almost too sharp for me? I think it would layer really really well with something subtly sweet under it but I just don’t know 🥲
I can understand that! I think it layers well with other woodsy gourmands like By the Fireplace or Tobacco Vanille - so the wood scents don't compete but the vanilla/lactonic notes soften the sharpness. I wonder if you might like that?

Have you tried dedcool milk lotion?
