Can’t stop won’t stop! I really want to get into wheel to wheel racing more often but up north it’s limited. My goal is to find a way to capture that experience to share with you all.

Drag racing is one of those things that's way harder than it looks, especially if you don't do well under pressure. You wait around for 2 hours for a fraction of a minute of track time and when you mess it up you have to wait again, it's a lot of pressure. I've only been once so far, finally made it to a track last year at the end of the season, I can admit that my first (and unfortunately for me, only) 2 runs were no better. I couldn't find traction to save my life and messed up a shift on each run, one of the runs I backed off throttle to try and find some traction only to bog. A high power manual RWD car on street tires definitely makes launching decently very difficult.
With all these K-swaps I wonder if I should install in my D21 a K24 instead of the KA24E it has from the factory. Making 200+HP doesn’t sound too bad if I could do it 🤔

that was a pretty good first drag day cool cars all around and actual physical improvements a short throw shifter would desperately help the s2k

If you go drag racing again put a Hoosier bias ply on the back of the car. That will help you be able to just dump the clutch
