- 11 months ago I bought a Honda S2000. It had a K swap, high compression motor with a mess of wiring and electrical issues. Before that it was a standard F series that I knew about dating allll the way back to 2015. So when I found out that it was going up for sale, I had to buy it. What we ended up doing was a new engine, new cooling, and a new K series with a 6262 turbocharger with E85. Needless to say, the power was doubled and the diff stayed stock. So what's next? Well, we're planning on taking this ugly duckling all around for drag days, burnout competitions, and more to see just what sort of abuse it can take until we decide to make it pretty! I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and say mid-high 13s at the strip but on the track and over time this thing will be dialed and be a menace. Excited to see where this build goes. Happy for you Alex!
Wowza. Great video. Have an 01 S2K that i drive often and hard. But its in absolute mint condition. Paint shines beautifully, clean interior and no deferred maintenance. Plan for SOS turbo in the future.

Don't forget to apply sun block when you drive with that top down, but man, 470rwhp on a S2000 sounds like a blast to drive

Im more of a european car guy, but turbo honda motors seem like so much fun.
I wasn't convinced either until I took one for a drive and now I can see why people love these cars so darn much!
On street tires & gentle enough launch to preserve the stock diff, low 12s at 123 MPH. Then you'll replace diff with Ford Cobra 8.8 and G-Force 5 speed trans to be bulletproof and add a better roll hoop...

I think you could probably run a mid to high 12s quarter just based of that you have driven plenty of cars and already ripped it around town

Good vid but why are you slamming it in gear. The s2k trans is smooth and flows. I’ve wound mine up but never slammed that shifter
