I also noticed that the title on the video is wrong, its victorious spirits, the name of the psp game
Oh, I didn't know that sorry,
the rom site I got it from was purely Japanese, and other videos of the psp game were listed as victorious boxers so I just assumed that the title took the same name as the PS2 release as most PSP games do
@epicpulsor25 oh, I get it , when I first discovered victorious spirits it took me weeks or month till I discovered the ps2 games. I'm glad I found them.
Btw hajime no ippo victorious spirits psp has the most polished combat

And hajime no ippo 2 victorious road ps2 has a mode called boxers road where you can simulate your own boxer and its during the story timeline but you will have to watch alot of guides just to know the basics

I very much agree that victorious spirits has the most polished combat, it feels like actually boxing with all the head movement and foot work options that you can actually incorporate different boxing styles and strategies you would do in real boxing, like out boxing, or rope shelling, or pressure fightinh, much better than fight night, or even arguably undisputed.
@epicpulsor25 the controls are different in for blocking because its automatic and you can also counter an opponets hit by pushing it back and attacking, pretty hard to do. For Sway dodging you sould have to put that into a bind it into a control i put it into arrow button down but. And yea I played fight night and undisputed but they never came close to being as fun as the hajime no ippo games

How did you do this did u connect with ur freind and how?
I did this on my own, the connect system on ppsspp on this game is a bit broken.
It was really just a matter of me having alot of saved replays of the sendo fight in the story campaign, and then ironing all out the peekaboo weaving, the standoffs, and the punch trades by doing them in exhibition mode with a weak sendo AI
the punch trades were the hardest part to make, since Sendo's AI did not want to stay at the center of the ring

@@epicpulsor25 Mind if I ask how you did that? I've tried to run the iso of the game through PPSSPP but it says PPSSPP can't load games of PS1 or PS2.
@@alamgirsani5531 you've probably downloaded "victorious boxers" instead of victorious spirits.
You can search a video link on yt on the proper DL process, but do note to download victorious spirits and not victorious boxers (I've made this mistake as well)
How to do the dempsey roll with blue pants?
You can only do a Dempsey roll with the blue pants by playing the level where you fight sendo, or the level before that as well
But other than those 2, you can't do the Dempsey roll with the blue pants version found in the exhibition mode choices for ippo
