thats kinda what i dislike about Skywalker saga. its not that the comedy is bad, its quite hilarious infact, its more that it cant be at least a little bit serious for at least 5 seconds without another 200 gags and jokes being introduced onto the screen. You need to have that balance in a story with comedy and seriousness, even when it comes to loose adaptations of movies like with lego. when you can balance it out both of those sides equally hit very hard. thats why Complete Saga is overall better in retelling the movies imo. it knew when to be serious and when to be goofy. if it only had like 8-10 levels per episode instead of 6, it could even rival Skywalker Saga on all fronts, not just how it retold Star Wars.
Think about this, I think the transition is a lot better in the skywalker saga. I could see baby Luke crying transition into Anakin’s suit in the real movie. The other one doesn’t have him burned, (and also how did Sidious get past that impossible level in OG saga). Because of that level, I saw Mustafar as a burning hot sun with small flat rocks
Definitly new. The made him actually need the suit. They didn't put the suit buttons on backwards for no reason like in the og version, the tantrum was ok but the palpatine dialouge change from the movie was awesome.
The Skywalker Saga wins for one reason that wasn't shown in this video, and that is because of how they transition into the Vader scene. The remaining Jedi looking at baby Luke and right as he starts crying, we cut to Anakin crying in pain as he completes his transformation into Darth Vader. The birth of a new hero and a fallen hero reborn as a villain happening back to back. As comedic as Lego Skywalker Saga is, when they want to play things a lil more straight or do their own cool thing, it works really well for me. It's kind of why I feel nitpicking Skywalker Saga scenes that isn't trying to be "haha lol funny" for not being "funny" enough can be a lil... "eh" for me.

And if anything I think the Skywalker Saga jokes around to much. It’s Lego humor , of course it’s Lego humor and it’s funny but it’s so unnecessary so have that much humor in there.
I think the Skywalker Saga one wins in accuracy to the original scene in Revenge of the Sith due to how similar the lighting is, Palpy telling Vader that he killed Padme and the ending where he yells "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" with him doing basically did the same pose that he did in the movies, albeit a bit different because he didn't break out like he did in the original clip. Complete Saga shows how dangerous and unstable Vader can be when he uses his full strength but isn't entirely accurate to the original scene in Revenge of the Sith in terms of lighting, dialogue (because there wasn't any for obvious reasons) and how Vader finds out about Padme's death. So overall, I think Skywalker Saga wins. Some may argue that Complete Saga is better because of the brutality but at least Skywalker Saga is more accurate.

My only problem with the first one has always been Anakin isn’t burned. But I feel like despite that it doesn’t play Anakin becoming Vader as a joke. It’s simple. To the point. Allows us to see the monster finally being solidified in armor and unlike a lot of the game, it’s not played for humor, but rather straight on. Him destroying everything and the close up on shaking showcases Vader as well as one would expect in a game with Lego versions of the characters. I appreciate that. I personally don’t care for the new version other than the fact that Anakin is burned and deformed. But because it plays it off for humor, I personally feel the moment is ruined. It doesn’t carry the same weight as the first one.
Anakin being shown to be in a huge amount of pain in the newer isn't really a joke, and the newer one show cases his transformation a lot better, even if it's more humorous.
I don’t think him being in pain is what I find to be played for laughs. It’s the new dialogue. The way he screams twice. The lack of music. It just feels like it’s robbed from the seriousness of the moment rather than in the first one where it doesn’t play it for laughs.
I like TCS for just about every cutscene. TSWS was great but I feel like they overdid it in the cutscenes, trying to make them funny like the originals but tried too hard and most ended up being cringe

I think it would have kept it fairly PG while keeping within the context of the Lego realm.

0:03. Das hört sich wie eine Mischung aus niesen und Husten an;)
I wish we saw more of his transformation in the new one
I don’t like the original one that much because it all happened very very very quickly like how it went from palp laughing to him having a full body suit
The only thing that bother’s be in the Skywalker Saga was the lack of music like in Episode 3
Catch his full Lego star wars videos on his live streams, and on his main channel... I think.
He doesn't even look injured in the original
Palatine making demon noises
The complete saga for me
Duh, the 2022 version seems unintentionally funny.
I like the simple distruction of the 2007 one but the look of anakin in the 2022 one
I hate the new ones they’re trying to hard to be joking around. The originals were funny but subtle
Agreed 💯 I honestly hate the majority of the new cutscenes in the Skywalker saga
@@anthonygarcia8749 thank you finally I'm not alone Lego games don't have to be stupid all the time to be funny
Anakin being shown to be in a huge amount of pain in the newer isn't really a joke, and the newer one show cases his transformation a lot better, even if it's more humorous.
@@SWDude2710 yeah
I don’t think him being in pain is what I find to be played for laughs. It’s the new dialogue. The way he screams twice. The lack of music. It just feels like it’s robbed from the seriousness of the moment rather than in the first one where it doesn’t play it for laughs.
I liked the classic more because it was my favorite game to play on the wii
Nostalgia wins every time. Complete saga
I like the Skywalker saga’s version a bit more.
It’s not quite the same without the burning, I feel like that’s what affected him the most
I like TCS for just about every cutscene. TSWS was great but I feel like they overdid it in the cutscenes, trying to make them funny like the originals but tried too hard and most ended up being cringe
Yeah, I hated how much jokes they tried to throw in there. I say “tried” because none of them weren’t even that funny ngl
@@DarthVader-if9kr agreed
O e thing I think about with the original saga version, is that the transition of Anakin wounded to Vader would have been more charming and kept a balance of serious and comedic if, when the droid comes down to place the helmet on, it should have popped off the Lego hair piece from Anakin and swapped it out with the helmet. I think it would have kept it fairly PG while keeping within the context of the Lego realm.
No matter what happens, the Medical Droid gets destroyed in all versions by Vader. No respect and appreciation whatsoever.
One thing about me, i learned all about the Knowledge fact about star wars on the OG game
My introduction to Star Wars WAS the Lego games so I always just assumed anakin put on the suit just to look cool and not cause he actually needed it to live
2022 version
The complete sagas version confuses me, I mean anakin didn’t burn but palpatine suited him up anyway I that version
