He added that it's hard to understand why he's on the list when he's went double platinum, which most rappers can't say they've done.

+Lewis Jones The only difference I see is the old school style vs the new school style. Lyrically they're all the same level, simple rhyme schemes, shallow content, and no. wordplay. The flows, enunciation, and beats is what seperates mc hammer from future. If you don't like the new school flows and enunciaciation of future than you would probably enjoy listening to hammer more.

That was intentional. On the earlier No Limit stuff he was actually on beat.
Like 95% of all rappers, Silkk is not a musican. He doesn't understand song structure or time signatures....he doesn't know theory. If you aren't playing an instrument or singing in key, you aren't a musician.

For real. They act like P didn't know millions of people were going to listen to this. They knew exactly what they were doing. Not like these days where you post a song on UA-cam and forget about it a week later. These songs/singles had to last a year or more on BET and the radio. They paid wayyyy more attention to what they were doing back then than now.

People always talked that P put out quantity over quality, but if that was the case, it wouldn't still be better than today's mumble crap. I'll be 90 years old and still listening to it. Lately I've been on Steady Mobbin- Premeditated Drama and Mr. Serve on- Life insurance. A few months from now, I'll bounce to a few different old no limit records...and so on. It will never die to me.

Silkk was lowkey Dope especially his first album. He was never the most lyrical but his off beat rap was unique and people were buying it up at one time. I think when the beats changed it left Silkk behind because he needed a certain type of beat to be dope.
