The D&B boxes doesn't sound the same ?? Please , where do you get those deaf guys to testimony ?? He probably doesn't know what a real speaker sounds like , if he gets paid he would say that Behringer sounds incredible , compared to Nexo :)) !!
For, low paying gigs, in no profile venues, I think most of us did the same thing coming up when it was called for. Walked into a club, as band engineer, to see a mix of JBL speakers and Mackie mixer or whatever (and the homebrew wiring setup that is as convoluted and near broken as it could be, but this is the owner's idea of a "great system"). Also, the people in adjacent structures would call to complain if things got too loud, so the headroom was low even with K2's powering mon and mains,
I never ever ever see ks audio anywhere in miami OR ANYWHERE PERIOD, and we have lots of installed and portable systems , so no , im not buying this. AND RULE NUMBER ONE IN SELLING GEAR IS NEVER SPEAK DEROGATORY ABOUT THE COMPETITION TO TRY AND MAKE YOUR OWN PRODUCT LOOK GOOD! EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS! LAME!!!!!
True, but this is a testimonial of a sound guy after getting a tour of their products, not a seller of the products, but they probably should have cut that out. I had never heard of KS audio before till this year actually, but am very impressed by the sound. The amp even had seperate modules for specific speaker cabinets to ensure the sound was equal for that system. Nothing magical about the drivers, Beyma mostly I heard. But like Ed in the video says, very consistent sound across the line, mainly due to amp/cabinet/drives are matched and "optimized" Really dug the power and detail across all the different sets this guy had in his rental setup.
