Buenos días me encanta el canal y disfruto viendo a una familia trabajando unida y de verdad es un trabajo fuerte Dios los bendiga entre tanto peligro cuídense les escribo desde Puerto Rico y por eso no me imagino yo en ese frío de ustedes
One thing i have noticed is that you two work well together. Also luv your organization skills. Live in Florida, the scenery is peaceful. Much respect for your profession. Best of luck in your future endeavours.
Appreciate the comment, walldog.
Such a difference in styles of fishing than where I’m from, I definitely enjoy seeing other styles of fishing
Glad you enjoyed!

used to take that many with rod and reel off a bass boat. 40 years ago .In the Kodiack
Next to Lobster, Salmon are my favourite Ocean creature. Fished Atlantic Salmon (Scotland) seasonal, for many, many years before Farm Salmon and reduced numbers moved us along. Hugely enjoyable and pretty labour intensive like most if not all fishing. Those seals/Lions. so lovable, eh.
Watched some of your excellent Halibut Fishery clips, some years ago worked in Canada, where I read/heard that they used 4-10 shotguns to kill/stun the huge Halibut they were trying to get into their punts on Grand Banks et al.
Love your channel. lived in Sitka while serving at the Coast Guard air station... fell in love with Alaska, and can’t wait to move back!!!!!
It's such a beautiful place, I'd have a hard time leaving too.
Whooo not a bad haul this is the best one for these set net vids lil bit of action 👌
Thanks AK, yeah the Buskin River is always kind of a scratch fest. Some days you get lucky and a school hits, but most the time its an all-day thing for 10-15 fish, mostly singles and doubles.
Absolutely love this channel...Greetings from Ireland guys 😀
Thanks Dan. All the best to you.
Thats awesomeness 👏, love how the video comes together!
Like. Good luck for everyday fishing.
Thanks so much. God Bless!
Same to you!

Enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
Thanks!
great videos ! i love watching them ! but you guys gotta work your net ? run the side that the fish are hitting on ? sometimes they linger along side the the net ? when you run it you scare the fish into the net . run it about 5 or 6 feet away from the net
Your furry friend would make a nice pair of mittens.
Nice! Great video!
Thanks, Larry!
Yall just got a new sub
Welcome!
Any underwater shots guys 😝
Sea lions are such a pain. Finally they’ve opened up hunting them in WA, they have been devastating here to the runs.
I didn't know that when did that happen?
@@Matt-qq2dd last year. The tribes can get permits to hunt now, and WDFW is doing selective culling especially around some of the Dams.
That’s good news, thanks for the update
Hello Americans, good luck and a big catch!
Hello there!
Hello there, it is not written that way. Hello Russia, or Russian.
wish i can join you guys....i love it
Do you have a daily limit? Oh, and thank you so much for taking us out with you.
Appreciate the comment! We have a limit of 25 fish per person in household.
@@EISAlaska So your limit isn't based on who's fishing at the moment, but how many people are in your household? And is that a daily limit or for the season? Great channel by the way, loving your vids.
Im subcreber from Indonesia
Hey guys is there a limit as to how many fish you can take . Most off the rivers in Scotland have a return policy on them ,if the fish has swallowed the hook then its encouraged to take the fish for he pot ,great vid ,a different aspect 😎
The streams are managed carefully by Fish and Game, and subsistence, sport and commercial opportunities are adjusted as necessary to insure escapement goals are met. If a river system is struggling to meet the minimum escapement the areas around it are closed.
Hey Guys great video! I'm curious how long is your net, and where do you buy them? I want to subsistence fish in Southeast Alaska on Prince of Wales Island
hello guys new subs from phillippines...
Thanks for subbing!
...........BOBBER FISIN..............thats f'n cool............
Nice never gets old watching fish hit the net, how many mesh deep gear are you guys allowed?
Back in 77 we ran a gillnet out near where you are before the regular seining season began. We had subsistence licenses and just wanted some fish to eat. We caught 10 or 12 Reds. The mind plays tricks, but in my minds eye the fish we caught seemed bigger...like 10-12 lbs and all almost exactly the same size....those are Reds aren't they?
Nice. The ones we caught this day were kind of small, we even had a few that slipped through the net. The previous day's were nicer and a few more males always makes a big difference.
.
Great job guys! Love it 👍New Friend Here 😉🤙🎣
Thanks for coming!
Nice fish bro
Thanks! 👍
Question...why not pull your net, and reposition when the vermin show up?
Good job guys I love the look of cooked salmon and the meat but I just can't take the taste
Is it possible to film the work that goes on in your EIS business side. the packaging, shipping etc.
Nice fish
Thanks Mr. Rexcy!
It was a good catch. How long is that season?
Best time is usually June for the Buskin. One year we had them into the first week of July.
I LOVE SAMON FISH EH YUMMY .

Amazing Fishing !! Do you fish them in ocean or in lake ? i really like fishing so much
Hi Ace. This is in the ocean, about 400 yards from the river the salmon return to.
Guys, nice job on the video and catching. I was wondering does anyone ever sport fish troll for Reds? I see guys getting Silvers, Kings, and even Pinks. Don't see much on the Reds and Chums being caught by the trolling method. Doesn't matter to me how a guy catches a fish I am just curious.
Hey Mark. I honestly don't know. I have heard of people trolling for reds, but not sure if anyone does it here. We are pretty out of touch with the sport fish world. One day when we have more time we will get back into it.
Hey guys, i’m about to go into an interview for gill net fishing in Alaska. Any questions I should ask the interviewer?
A job interview, or interview on how the fishery works? We are only fishing for our own food in this video. Certainly not the same as say the Bristol Bay salmon fishery.
I fish by seine at chignik lagoon and my first year age 12 any tips chignik is by pilot point
Where do you buy the nets?
They are build from their base components. We built ours year ago in our living room.
Yup
country Belarus/Minsk
👍👍👍👍👍
What's the etiquette for how many nets/ how close? Does it turn into battle fishing? I've walked off the river/ocean before because of knuckleheads rubbing elbows with me to "get their trophy"
Hi stickhillfarm. It depends on your neighbors. Some guys will say drop your net right off their end, others like a little space. That spot only holds about four nets, but 50 foot space is plenty if they are all on the boundary line. If you set perpendicular to the beach then a few hundred feet is probably good. Most guys are pretty laid back, and easy to get along with. Nothing like river fishing.
@@EISAlaska thanks for the reply!
wats up fisherm,an els how you doing ///
Hey guys, do you have a limit on how many you can catch?
Hi walrus. The permit allows 25 fish per member of a household. Dependents are listed on the permit, but do not have to be present when fishing.
EIS Alaska Thank You.
Putting the fish on bags?
Some nice fish and just a pitty the Sea Lion paid a visit but aint you allowed to shoot them?
They are protected under the marine mammal protection act. To shoot or even harass them can get you a hefty fine and even jail time. Harvest is allowed by Alaska natives.
I don't know.....maybe your furry friend would make a nice pair of mittens.
530am?
You guys should leave the chinok salmon so they can make their way back to the south parts for the orca
Hi Susan. These are all red salmon.
do you milk the females of their eggs and the males for the sperm to make more?
Nah, we're just humble fishermen, not biologists, lol. There are egg takes at the hatchery in Kitoi and other places.
You guys need to go to the hidden falls that's were all the salmon is
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👊👊👊👊

Hey!

Gotta have a native on board with a rifle to help take care of those sea lions for ya
greetings.to follow you
Welcome!
i saw you counting the females do you have a limit or another reason you like females.
Nope, no limit aside from the 25 per person in household. Usually females are indicators that the run is coming to an end.
@@EISAlaska thank you for the info. and i had no idea that females show the end of a run.
Start the grill

Thr music on this video is so repetitive that I couldn't watch very long.
I like your channel but not music
Good feedback, thanks Marty.
A wrist rocket and .50 caliber round musket balls really work well.
They all look a lot smaller than when I was up there...sad.
These are Buskin reds, not quite as big as the big Cookies but still just as delicious.
So men don't fish anymore they just drag nets around 🙄
Legal gear for subsistence fishing. pretty sure we explained it in the video!

10 рыб поймали а сколько бензина потратили. Так за каждой рыбкой гонять никаких денег не хватит, выйдет золотая рыбка. дешевле купить в магазине.
As if you guys really need those to subsist.
So today y'all are catching not fishing still working just the same. Be safe.
