Main ingredients:
250g spaghetti.
40g butter.
20g flour.
500 ml milk.
4 cloves of garlic.
70 g hard Parmesan cheese.
Some vegetable oil.
Salt, ground black pepper, dried ground nutmeg to taste.
Salad ingredients:
1 tomato.
100g mozzarella cheese.
A few basil leaves.
Some vegetable oil.

If you use heavy Whipping Cream added to your melted butter and let it come to a slow boil until it starts to thicken then you can add your spices and cheese and you do not need to use flour. Your pasta is the only starch you need in this recipe. 😋

That’s right flour in a pasta sauce makes it gloppy and a grainy texture for no reason. It thickens just fine, even if no cream is used, if cheese is added. If it’s too thin, add more cheese to milk and butter mixture.
And your pasta water is t boiling hard enough because the pot is too small so you can’t utensils the heat up enough because it would boil over and the pasta will stick to the bottom of the pot. Save some pasta water. Strain the pasta pot and put the pasta back in that bigger pot. Add your cheese to the BIG POT so you can mix it properly.
Sorry your finished product is way too sticky and because of the flour you added and because you didn’t adjust the consistency using reserved pasta water.
And honestly, you don’t know what you are doing.
I think that it would be more than five minutes to make.

Many, many years ago in my great grandmas time when life was about living by your own hand work.
Pastas of all sizes & shapes were ALWAYS made fresh & from scratch!
The days started with the early morning breads which were left rising as the fresh eggs were being collected.
Other chores were assigned & attended however, on pasta days the special utensils were brought out. The bowls, pots & guillotine slicer were cleaned & oiled the bowls & cooking pots were set to simmer so when the fresh pasta was ready & had curred & dried it would be ready for the "brief" time it needed to cook.
At serving time several things happened in a practiced order. Just before the meal would be served.
The water was brought to a simmer, the oil was added to prevent the fresh flower on the fresh pasta from sticking.
The boiling water was salted & nearly simultaneously the pasta was dropped in.
As the mixture started to foam the heat was turned down. The pasta rake was ran through the mixture once or twice.
Then after 5 to 7 minutes of cooking the pasta was spread on the draining board to drain.
Once drained the steaming the pasta was then dished into butter, cream, or sauces & set on the tables to be served.

Bonne recette, mais l'huile dans l'eau est superflue. Ce qui fait se coller les pâtes ensemble est l'amidon qui se dégage lors de la cuisson. Pour éviter que les pâtes ne collent, il faut mettre un volume d'eau suffisamment important dans la casserole ou le faitout. L'amidon sera dilué et les pâtes ne collent pas.

FYI, do not put salt in when the water is cold and never put oil in the water it interferes with the sauces ability to stick to the pasta. Hope this helps

Everyone cooks differently!!! if you don’t want to put oil on your water that’s fine! So called “experts” say don’t put oil in the water. Well then, they don’t have to put oil in their water. But they have no right to chastise other people who like to put a little oil in the water. Personally, I don’t use oil. But I don’t tell other people what to do. If they like oil, that’s their right and their business!

I would have added extra virgin olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Also, you can reserve some of the pasta cooking water and add to the creamy sauce to make it less thick.

Never put oil in pasta water. If you want pasta to not stick together while cooking, use a bigger pot and more water. That little pot you have is a problem and the oil you added does nothing to keep pasta from sticking together but will keep the sauce from adhering to the pasta.
If it only takes 5 minutes, why is the video over 10 minutes?

Oil in pasta water prevents pasta from sticking together BUT...the oil prevents the sauce from clinging to the pasta. You will not get the most out of that bite of pasta because the sauce is unable to hold onto the pasta. It will not work well with sauces. Most professionals know this to be the truth. 🌿💛🌿
