I think that whole "open relationship" rumor came directly from. Tom, to Raquel, to start grooming her for cheating with him, and that she put it out to others also... In an attempt to start setting up Tom leaving Ari, and it being OK to viewers that he had cheated. Unfortunately for Sandoval, Arianah is to amazing to let some BS Rumlr get any footing, and she was suuuuper vocal about it not being true. I bet that rumor started a red flag for her. If you invite 3rd parties into your relationship (ie Lala eating out Ariana) then you're in an open relationship. Tom and Ariana were in an open relationship but clearly he betrayed Ariana since she didn't know about the 3rd party he had invited into their relationship. Their open relationship does not absolve Tom but we're gonna call a thing what that thing is because they were in an open relationship even though Ariana doesn't want to call it that.
