It's very odd seeing Tom and Katie have dinner. I think it's way too soon...the emotions and feelings of resentment are still very fresh and they're both hitting trigger points in each other. That means they're rushing the healing process. Take some time apart so that you eventually can have an enjoyable meal/moment with each other one day.

He’s definitely got his faults- but Katie is very controlling and has always been very critical of him too. They’re toxic together- and I think resentment has boiled up for him. She did divorce him- and still wants them to act like a couple pretty much, that just aren’t intimate. I feel like he’s tried to keep his cool through the season- but it’s when she starts arguing with people he seems to get really bothered. I know he has lots of faults- but she’s always tried to shape him into someone he’s just not.

I’ve never been in Kate or Tom’s position so I don’t have real insight what it’s like to be divorced. Katie needs to stop drinking. I can see right through her mood swings. She needs to get clean for a long period of time to finally not react in such a hostile annoying contentious type of way. She is very insecure and she will feel a whole lot better about herself if she stops drinking. She doesn’t even have to be an alcoholic but you can tell alcohol affects her body and mood.
