- This is my 2019 Yamaha XSR700. It is a Caffeinated Suburb Commuter, a lovely canyon road companion, and just a beautiful machine to look at. It is my favorite motorcycle I have ridden so far and would recommend it to anyone with a little experience on two wheels.

Awesome bike awesome review very thorough answering all the questions cheers for the upload.
Thank you!
You have a couple of great bikes there. Very wise choices! Love the modern “retro” standard bikes, and small displacement dual-purpose bikes.
It’s more fun to ride a small bike hard, than it is to ride a big displacement bike slow!
Very good reviews. I look forward to seeing more of these bikes!
Thank you! I appreciate that a lot
Beautiful bike and great video quality! Thinking about picking one of these up as a second bike, but that new triumph trident is awfully tempting as well
Thank you! If you're getting the bike new and leaving it stock the Trident is probably objectively the better bike. If you're getting it used I definitely trust Yamaha over Triumph. And also if you plan to put an exhaust on this is just me but I don't like the sound of triples. If you look up Two Brothers sr1 exhaust for the xsr it's pretty much the meanest sound I've ever heard out of a 650ish bike
Nice review. I have a 2018 in Canada. I love it
Thanks! Yeah they're fun
I went from a Honda Hawk GT to an XSR700. I absolutely love the new bike. The Hawk handled maybe a tiny bit better, but the Yamaha has so much more power. I'll probably ride the 700 for a couple more years before I possibly jump up to the XSR900. I'm hoping the 900 gets the upgraded CP3 that the MT-09 just got for 2021.
Yeah that would be nice, I heard its smoother with even more torque
Nice in-depth review bro. Btw, what is the name of the helmet?
Thanks! It's a biltwell lane splitter
what is the brand of the plate holder ?
That's just the dealer plate. Chaparral Motorsports in San Bernardino
Does this come with traction control?
No, just ABS
21:34 you were blinking to the right the whole time. He probably thought you were letting him pass.
You could be right actually. But that doesn't excuse him driving in both lanes while going up that hill
@@TheCoolestCourier true. drove like an idiot like many do
Im considering this bike~ anyone have any regrets after getting the xsr700?
I loved it and miss it. I like my xsr900 more but there is something very fun about the cp2 motor as well.
Holy shit this is my home town, la cresta?
Hell yeah!
This bike is on sale on craigslist for 7,000 right now but the thought of really dumb driver's being on their phone hitting me is stopping me man.
Do you have any kind of less populated area you can ride like you see here in this video? I basically rode that country roads and mountains like this for most of my riding. I did it so much that now I have the opposite fear, animals running into the road. If you look at my video titled the end of my XSR 900 you'll see what I mean lol
not really haha I live in Seattle & it's a concrete jungle here with real bad aggressive drivers! @@TheCoolestCourier
Yeah, That's a rough place to own a motorcycle. I visited Seattle for tour once. Very friendly music scene! For me, riding is just as fun as playing live and I couldn't imagine life without it. But I think people are severely undergeared and under skilled who ride which both can make things dangerous. I survived that crash with the deer because of the airbag vest and head to toe armored gear.
Will this bike attract the chics ? Asking for a friend .
Haha more than others but not really
@@TheCoolestCourier I knew it would !
