New color schemes are very nice. Somehow this was also previously a very nice bike. :) I am glad you rode it. Agree with your thoughts. The "clock" is there. Joke. Keep up man and drop by for the beast. Waiting for you... :)
Hi there, I think that both bikes are beginner friendly as long as you have some initial training. Both are very enjoyable to ride 😊Take care out there 👍👍
I got 2019 Tribute XSR700 only downside in my opinion is horrible headlight and horrible suspension plus the fact the trip/info switch on the left controls is just blanked off and can clearly see something is missing but looks like all 3 things have been addressed in the 2022 model, might have to cop this next month 👊 all round sick machine ngl.
I've started to hear things about the quality of the suspension on the 700 range of bikes... I can't say I had any big problems with this bike but as you can see I didn't ride it for very long. Is the headlight bad at night?
I don't know anything about the LAMS rules because we don't use them in the UK, but a quick look online says that at 689cc this is not the LAMS compliant version
This is one of the bikes I fancy for my nine months a year in Thailand. I already have a KTM 390 Duke and Yamaha Aerox 155. I could house all three. I certainly wouldn't put a fairing on it.
Hi Rikky Love your enthusiasm your laugh which is a mix of pure glee and a nervous laugh never fails to make smile. l am glad you have had a chance to review this. l think it looks good. If you havve a channce please try thhe big brother the XSR 900. l think it is one of the most handsome bikes out there other than the Z900RS. Thee new one hmmn hate a few chhanges but the 2016 XSR 900 is amazing including the clock and the round taillight which arre all MIA on the new one. What a shame.
Thanks bobo jo! I sometimes think that folks might get fed up with my high pitched giggles lol (well maybe some do but it's just me, what can I do!). You've given me an idea actually... Completely Motorbikes now sell both Yamaha and Kawasaki from the same site... I might see if I can do a comparison between similar models such as the 900RS vs the XSR900. What this space 😊

Enjoyed the review Ricky, thank you.
Thank you Mark, glad you enjoyed it.
Enjoyable review. Can I ask what make/range your jacket is?
Great review, very descriptive!
That's very kind of you to say so, thanks 😊
Hi

Iam waiting for my XSR700 black
It should be with me in a month from now
I really can't wait 😊
Awesome it's a great bike to ride (and look at) I'm sure you'll love it!
@@RikkyTang thanks and that's why I went for it love the look

I don’t like these colour scheme at all. I miss the white/red one. They should have kept that.
@@niemoikein4330 That looked traditional. Have to agree. :)
Nice review thanks :)
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful motorcycle!!! Do you thing is beginner friendly or the SV650 is a the better option to start!? Thanx, cheers and rode save bro ✌️

Any idea how is the fuel consumption like? How many km can it go on a full tank?
I used to own one, mine was 4.6L / 100 KM, no matter how hard I was pushing the bike.
@@lechtaczka1272 Cool, thanks for the info, bro.
Lowest I ever got out of a full tank was around 235km
Daily commuting on my previous bike (tracer 700) I could get 305km out of 1 tank (17L) !
I think that's pretty incredible 😀
Is this the LAMS version ???

Sorry mate this one is not doing it for me !, in a showroom I would not give it a second look esthetically just does not look right 😐👍
Not even if its styled like the old Elsie? 😊
@@RikkyTang Well maybe then of course 😄
Yes the old Elsie style looks great on the 900, also not my thing but we all like different bike at different price points. Nice review, Carl
I wouldn't dismiss on looks alone!
Such a dope bike. We only get the black 2022 model in the states.
I'm glad I was able to at least give you a look at the white model!
The look of it reminds me of like a '80s Yamaha
Don't ever use a cramp buster on the throttle. I almost threw myself off of my MT07 accidentally.
Duly noted!
My first bike was a RD200 , many moons ago..I want this bike !

test road one today loved it
Planning to get one soon?
Good review for excellent bike!
Thank you 👍

Great review , I do like this bike and quite fancy the 900 version
Cheers Andrew. Yes the new 900 looks pretty tasty! I hope to be able to wangle a test ride one day.
