Bought this months ago and finally tried to play it last night. No guidance in-game that I could find, even though I said I was totally new to Civilization. It put me on a screen with 8 or so hexes visible, two graphical units in the middle of those, and notice that I should use the left and right shoulder buttons for more functions. No explanation of what the icons meant. No indication of how to control or do anything. And even once I properly guessed how to get to the Civipedia for "help" I couldn't figure out what to do. Did I glitch past something important, or does the game really expect you to already know the basics of how to play it? Guess I'll watch your tutorials and figure it out that way. Thanks for providing these - I'm assuming they are good based on the rating, so want to mention my appreciation before I forget to.

In CIV 5 I played Germany with AI Rome leading on points. Caesar backstabbed me, leading to an epic 300+ turn slugfest where I took 7 cities, burned 3 more, and the last traded hands multiple times - it was the city before his capitol. I badly wanted to 'sack' Rome, but we were stuck in stalemate - he sued for peace and I accepted. The game had a 500 turn limit, time ran out and he still beat me on points. I still recall that game fondly. It was one of those rare times I truly embraced my inner warmonger. : )

Not sure if you covered it, but I Dont like that scouts suffer a movement loss for traveling through rugged terrain! Unlike Civs 5 they easily march through regardless of terrain!
Thanks! I think I might have briefly mentioned it but not in any detail. Yeah, different terrains take different movement points to cross. I like it to be honest, it makes you think more about moving units and gives the terrain another dynamic. - Alex

It's a good game, I'm enjoying it alot. I played Civilization Revolution on Xbox 360 and this is a more in depth experience than that (it's the full civilization 6 base game from the pc).
