True stories, a movie not many understand nor appreciate. This movie is such a comforting and simple film that makes me cry every time. There is something so mundane to the eye but yet so special about regular joes like Luis fine in a town filled with everyday people. David Byrne has always done amazing at taking the simple and magnifying it’s interesting factors, the way it works, and the beauty behind them. “We don’t want freedom, we don’t want justice, we just want someone to love”
I was 20 yrs old when John Sang this, I'm 57 now and it's the first time iv'e Seen & Heard Johns Vocals He Was/Is A Great Singer, I Have All of Talking Heads Albums on Vinyl And My Favourite is 77' the First one of Theirs I Bought when i was 12 as that Album was released in 1978 in the UK I Had mate's back then who were into Blondie &The Ramones But The Heads were the only American Punk Band For Me, And Almost Every British Reggae Group Especially UB40 & The Dandy Highwayman Himself SIR Stuart Godard
True Stories, the closest the US will ever get to an Alan Bennet story.

I couldn't agree more. It's a simple movie that's so powerful and magical because of how well he captured the day to day person and life.
This song really ties the room together😜
Don't claim to be a true country fan, if you don't know this star
Awesome song
sung by the legendary
John Goodman
That was from a very good film.
Also the song is made by the talking heads which is the original singers who sang it which is a fantastic band.
Best movie hands down
😢beautiful

This fucking rules💯💯
I'm in love! Talking Heads!
As good as the criterion album version and David Byrnes are, I can't listen to anything but this one.
Right
Or the kids' version of "Hey Now".
As good as "Roll Back the Rock to the Dawn of Time" from We're Back! A Dinosaur Story
And "Good Golly Miss Molly" from King Ralph
I have to agree this version is my favorite and it has so much feeling in the context of this movie
Hilarious. 😂
I love this song and the end scene so much. It makes me tear up seeing Louis get his happy ending. ❤
ME TOO. It makes me emotional
Wow... Just WOW!
Was this scene ever cut from any version?? Why don’t I remember the greatest song ever sung :(
No?? Wow that’s weird 😮 how do you remember the movie ending??
True Stories testifies to what America could be if people like us put a stop to all the nonsense.
I want freedom. I want justice. I have someone to love...
