Thanks for your videos…you are awesome. I’m Italian, i live in the US, I know nothing about BMX but my son is getting into riding. He started without training wheels when he was 3. You are an amazing resource. Thanks for what you do!
I just ordered the Division from DC last night shipped for under $400. The stats on paper along with this recommendation and the discount made the decision easy.
Another slick presentation, Doug! Division comes under the Colony brand and shouldn't be used in the same sentence as Mafia Bikes. Pretty big fan of the Fortiz. Rode a couple of them at my local skatepark. I could argue it's the perfect beginner to intermediate bike if you can't find a Kink Whip or Colony Premise cheaper here. Props to the Switch for coming out on top. Rode one of those as well and was impressed overall with it. Loved how little slack there was to the freecoaster, too!
citygrounds had 1 WTP Justice in Taxi Yellow left on sale for 299.99 I'm pretty sure thats a steal. I snagged it and im stoked on it plan to use for mostly street
Hello sir Doug! 👋🏻 Question. I have a old Huffy Pro Thunder 4 from my youth and I would like to replace the 1 piece crank with a 3 piece. I saw your Upgrade Recommendations but I have no clue if those would fit. Any suggestions 🤔.
I ended up getting the 2022 cult devotion thanks to some help from your videos in black which by the way is not boring being all black everything it is very clean looking. Right now mine weighs exactly 27.6 pounds with both stock pegs cult hub gaurds all around for about 25 dollars and odyssey evo 2 brakes added as the only non stock part as a fellow giant rider at 6'6" and 180 pounds returning to the sport after about 15 years yet still being a mid to high level rider it was the perfect fit for me I can't even really tell that the rear dropout is so much larger than most other than the stability because of my size
@@hotdang8885 I personally wouldn't go any smaller than 21 for top tube if your my size you'd be surprised what a 1/4 or a 1/2 inch will do any smaller and I feel cramped up as for the dropout it would depend on how you are trying to ride I like it longer it is less responsive but it allows you to move your weight around more because no matter the size of bike your center of gravity is going to be higher so as you move around it moves farther like a mannuel since your higher when you shift your weight back it goes farther back if that makes any sense as for the other stuff pretty standard works 9 inch rise longer cranks a pedal with a nice platform for bigger feet you can always adjust that stuff later by swapping parts like a different gooseneck can change where your bars ride and so forth but a frame swap can be pricey feel comfortable first get comfortable by riding and adjust as you progress hope that helps you can always email dougster as well with questions ride well mah dood
Thank thank you very much for being honest about the bikes we definitely won't be getting those two bikes that's for sure I did get my crisis we the people stole know it's terrible I hate it I want my bike back but it happens keep the Sunnyside up guys be safe good luck
I love my Julian arteaga bike but after I bought a Gsport wheel set I'm at 1200 bucks wishing I just went with a sound wave 😭 but my bike came with a r25 forks but my cranks or sprocket idk which is making a super loud clink noise so that's the only reason I wish I got the sound wave
Crap, devotion panza, (purple one with yellow rims) or kink whip xl, or kink switch? Are they all the same specs? Just checked bc i know there was a reason i didn't want the switch and it's bc on websites like dans comp, it says single wall rims.
Nah the switch is double wall!! Switch has a little bit of a smaller toptube, and it’s more responsive then both bikes. The devotion and switch both have pegs, whip does not. All 3 are similar quality
@Dougsterbob would the year matter maybe? And if I wasn't worried about cost between the 3, which one would you get? I mean there only an $80 difference between the 3. Whip xl, switch, devotion. Literally only want the devotion bc of the color. Was dead set on the whip xl for a few years.
Names Angel got introduced to biking in Rhode Island by some friends I meet at the park I use to skate they told me u should start biking and I tried it and they said surprisingly I was a natural I'm 168Ib and 5'4.5" tall I need a complete setup that's a good price I am interested in Sunday kink and cult bikes I need help. Please somebody help
Complete bikes have gone backwards in the last ten years. Aheadsets have returned to entry level options, and hi-tensile tubing has crept back into the mid-range.
Just picked up the fortiz. Thanks Douglas for your time and I appreciate your effort and giving back way above and beyond!
Thanks for always being honest with us, we appreciate you

I love my Kink Whip XL. So great, just a little heavy but a new set of Eclat Mirage folding tires makes a HUGE difference

Does anybody know how the slack is in the CLOUD freecoaster?

I'm 34, 5'4, 160lbs. I do street riding. What's the best bike for me?

God gave us this Chanel ✌️👌😄
But liked to know more about flybikes

Check bearings and tightness of bolt if they r good the put sum grease in there
U think the stranger crux 2022 is worth it just saw it cuz one something to put 20x2.5 tires on it 🤷♂️
Just got my switch at $479 the 2023 just came out so I assume thats why
What about a se?
I wish you would have said the size every time for the bikes.

The Fortiz is 383 at Dans Comp and a way better value right now
These are always fun
Never seen you review a Stolen brand bike on your channel. I would think the Heist version would be included in this one.

I put in a bike request and I didn’t get anything back. It’s been four days.
Yo, what state are you out of? I got an idea you might enjoy to grow your channel. It’s pretty simple too
I asked for a free BMX recommendation but I never got it. I checked all folders...
What’s your email address? Or just send me an email to douglas@dougsterbob.com sometimes I miss the request
@@Dougsterbob sent!
Why was the whip not here it’s a good bike full cromoly frame forks and bars
Ehh I could have included it but I left it and the cult control out to include them in “under $500”
@@Dougsterbob that makes sense

Why do today's BMX or street bike have such F A T and C H U N K Y seats !?!?!?!?!?
😍
