Beautiful car, i sure wouldnt complain if i had one, but 2 tonnes is a little heavy, and it makes me wonder how hard the thing would be to control going around corners. Well at least here in Australia we use Holden Special Vehicles, Ford Performance Vehicles, and TRD Toyotas, all for the win!
I love how he has to move the entire car as opposed to just the spotlight when he lights the public urinator up in broad daylight
I've have seen a good crown good vic do 6.5 seconds, but they usually are about 7-8 seconds.

yeah even tho Pontiac is out of business theyre going to import the G8 as the new Chev Caprice... especially as police cars, probably with the 402 or 430 HP engines
Here, we mostly have the classic, Crown Vics. The Health Dept First Responce car is a Charger HEMI, but other than that, no Chargers are used as police cruisers. :(

Well Peel Regional Police here in Mississauga-Ontario-Canada as well as the Durham region use that Hemi Charger long time ago

He said I like the more direct and heaver steering..... He he has never had to talk on the radio and chase a car on curvy back roads or drive with his left hand while his right is on his firearm in anticipation of returning fire as soon as the car in front grinds to a stop after running on flats for 2 miles. I want a steering wheel that is video game easy at low speed and gives less assist as speed increases.
I haven't the fainest idea why it is, but every time this gentlemen reviews a car or makes an observation, he is usually devoid of all emotion, wit, an wickedly sharp tongue, astuteness and emotion. I mean come on, if the ride was such an awe inspiring experience, you really expect more superlatives to come to hand, instead of this dullard monotone and thunderous poor acting.

All I c in my city is Crown Vic cruiser, for once I like to c this bad ass Charger cruiser. Nothing can get away from this bad ass HEMI.

over here, we have crown vics and new mustang cop cars but the mustang is green. cant even tell the difference anymore when speeding

even the new 2007's? I'm pretty sure they're all rear wheel drive. I know the older ones were front wheel drive

I appreciate your creative effort, but would have rather seen a video of the engine or suspension in action or a better view of the dashboard instead so mcuh of the tounge-in-cheek comedy. Maybe 75% content, 25% creative would work better. It was fun to watch, but in the end I would like to be more informed about the car.
they are nice cars. Purdue University has at least one in their new fleet.
I see I've gotten thumbs down, I think people mis reinterpreted tone. I work with police, and they are for the whole, extremely good people. However criminals don't care about how much a vehicle cost, and will steal it anyway. I think I badly portrayed my tone, sorry for any misunderstanding.

not only that, they dont want to spend money on importing parts used in repairs (not to mention they're expensive as hell)

1- arrest someone for littering
2- arrest someone for public urination
3- not stating maranda rights while performing a arrest
4- not wearing police uniform while on the line of duty.

The comment about the Crown Victoria being used because of reliability is key. Both Dodge products I have owned (1991 Caravan and 1999 Dakota) were purchased new and were beyond crap. Nothing but multiple repeating problems that Chrysler could never fix. My Dakota was in the shop 16 times in the 18 months I owned it. These Chargers may look cool and be fast but they are 2 tons of pure CRAP!!

5.7 engine and only 340bhp? 0-60 in 6 seconds? I agree with surfinbird84. Where we are, the V70 T5s and Imprezas would eat that. Moreover, the UK Police cars can do that amazing thing - corners.

Ford should be importing the Falcon V8s from Australia for police cars, like Chev are with the rebadged G8 Pontiac as the new Chev Caprice....

Think twice about littering?...Think twice about running from the police!!...That's one hell of a police car...We have them here in michigan but only for the state troopers only.
