I think you should react to Ghostkid! It's Sushi and of course you'll hear old EC in it but at the same time it's different because it's his solo project! If you wanna start heavy you could go with "Supernova" or you could do "Start a Fight"

You know which channel I think is super underrated? Metal Piano Music. The guy spends weeks composing classic metal songs into classical/relaxing piano pieces and he hardly gets any views. I love his arrangement of Holy Diver by Dio. That dude deserves millions of followers
This is the old staff I had also fun with. They could be serious in one Song and and absolute ludicrous in the next.
Maybe look into the Album "Burry me in Vegas" and liste too "Internude/Is Anyone Up"

The dark figure (guy with the lightbulbs on his head) is the unclean singer of Nico's previous band To the Rats and Wolves.
Next maybe Is Anyone Up (yes, it is about the website, so be prepared for some strong language) or We Are The Mess (watch the credits till the end) and then VIP which was released after the first MC Thunder and from what I've heard it was criticized by some of their fans back in the days for the change in music style.

Such a banger live! Heard it first during part 2 of their WE ARE THE MESS tour in 2014. That bridge is super-jumpy and the break hits with full brutal force.
I get that Sushi‘s voice is not everyone‘s cup of tea, but it definitely sticks out and is very recognizable - which I see as a quality many vocalists are missing.
Not sure whether you already reacted to it, but one of my all time favs of EC is the song WE ARE THE MESS (besides MUFFIN PURPER-GURK & IS ANYONE UP).

Love the reactions always and hope yall get to manage to see EC on tour! Sushi is the only one in this video not in the current band line up. Although Daniel (lead guitar) did start a band called Samurai Pizza Cats and his talent really shows in the song "You're Hellcome ft Alma". I highly recommend best day by them with sido (German rapper). Also the shallows, prism, hurricane are all great songs with sushi. There is also a cover of cinema which is really fun.
One of my all-time favorite songs. The new era with Nico sounds different, of course, not worse, now they have some kind of unique selling point with their songs. and if I want to hear sushi there is Ghostkid. A win-win situation for me.

I remember the Elbriot festival in my city of birth - Hamburg. I think it was in 2016.
I wanted to hear that song but when EC played it I was still in the entrance area because the security was too slow. (Usually we older guys are not controlled so intensive) So I missed the song and heared it only from the distance.
But thank you. I also think about NuMetal when I listen to EC. And I also do not like Nickelback 😀

The clean singer is the guy before Nico ... Sushi was a good singer, but I think they did an awesome choice with Nico.

They have done quite a lot of songs with screaming. Is anyone up is pretty good if you don’t mind the subject material. It is about the adult site of the same name. I think it was out about the same year a little bit before the shutdown of it. We are the mess is pretty good to. Final dance also has a music video. I think those are it aside from ones already mentioned before the Nico era.

I've heard that song before and had no idea it was eskimo callboy. Definately is early 2000s Nu Metal style. I like it BUT it doesn't scream Eskimo Callboy it's just another nu metal song to me.

Sebastian is a big name and I Like his voice but more now, I also feel like you, with the high snorry sound, it changed and he found his style. It's art and good quality and transport always a deeper meaning.

I still think you guys should give Callejon Metropolis a try. It‘s a very long video, it‘s kinda a try of a composition of music and video art. The singer of Callejon did a lot of cover artwork for bands like Heaven Shall Burn and Rammstein and is currently getting more and more into filming. So he is basically directing the music videos by hisself. Callejon is from Germany NRW like Eskimo Callboy. They are on the same label, they are friends, they have been on stage together and they are both doing Metalcore (okay, EC are more of a „Trancecore“ band than an actual Metalcore) band. You won‘t get the lyrics of Callejon because they are German, but you will certainly see the very best of the German Metalcore scene.

same here, I never liked eskimo callboy at all, they were indeed a sceneband, and if youre not listening to those kinda bands you didnt notice them or like them at all. thank god I figured out how brilliant and talented they are now with switching up their music style. I even took photos of their pre-nico era at a festival as a photographer cause visually they were looking freakin badass. :P thanks for your honest reaction, I felt the same when listening to crystals. cheers guys!

I don't know if you recognized the song is about a crystal meth reaction. Sushi always split the fans before some loved his clean singing some hated it. If you want another funny song you should definitely watch is anyone up. It's their first big hit. You need to watch up their lyrics when you react to their songs. I have the feeling you miss a lot without lyrics ;-). Keep up the good work love to watch you.
Prism is my favorite song from this era of them. IMO the nico era is a completely different band and better for my taste.

Since the first album dropped I loved this band and I love Sushi. For me it is the other way around! I was so confused by their new style.. but I do love their new songs as well. It is just another band now, imo they shouldve renamed
It is just part of the evolution. Just one member can heavily affect a bands chemistry. I think it worked out well.
look i fucking LOVE serious metal. Im in 3 metal bands and theyre all pretty serious. But, yeah this aint doing it for me. Im not saying they couldnt make serious topic music sound good, but this doesnt work for me. Maybe thats just because im not a big fan of their writing prior to hypa hypa. maybe if they made something with a seirous tone now id actually enjoy it. but this just didnt work for me.
