@@janetgilmore8006 it really depends what you're fishing for. For sockeye most people use a technique called flossing and some uses spey or fly. But always check the regulation before going fishing because it always changing. No natural bait allowed in our area.

@@janetgilmore8006 daily limit differs where you're fishing. Where I fish is 4 sockeye a day, doesn't matter if it's caught from a boat or bank.
