It's better to put the fried onion as a last stage, by pouring it as a topping, so you can taste its crunchines. It is an Indonesian generally way to put the fried onion on the top of any kind their food to make it more delicious.
Beside with eggs, u may also try with Vegestables. Put it when u boil indomie, but try not overcook. I also like to put some chilly when boiling indomie so I can have a spicy taste.
@@ChewOnItCo Thanks a lot btw can you please try to put chat masala in it it’s a seasoning I put in the noodles please try it thanks a lot love your videos on your other channel
I tried these today. I was very skeptical at first because I am a very picky eater, and I almost exclusively eat cup noodles because I find the gooey texture of most stove top noodles not appealing. However, these noodles were amazing! Very sweet on the first bite but mellows out immediately to not feel like a big bite of sugar, a very light teriyaki flavor with a hint of spice and the noodle texture was great! Cheap and delicious, recommended!
Lol just had them for the first time a couple of minutes ago. I too am a picky eater and wasn't sure about the sauces and stuff, but when I had it, it was really good!
lol if your stove top noodles are gooey that means you're overcooking them. They have the same texture as cup noodles when you dont leave them on the stove too long.
If it's too weak, you can also use sauce directly on noodles, less on plate, all on noodles. You can also cook it less soft, then cool it under cold water, stir-fry it with the sauce in a big frying pan, with the eggs cooking on the side, making it even tastier textured.
usually i don't get my hopes up because of the hype of something, due to a lot of things being overhyped, and leading to disappointment, but this stuff really lives up to the hype. it was better than i expected. will definitely buy this more in the future
I love the special chicken indomie noodles :D the mi goreng is absolute perfection and I love it! I would recommend eating 2 packets of mi goreng for lunch or dinner coz I packet isn't enough for a whole meal , u can eat it as a tiny snack with 1 packet:)
pro tip, Instead of heating the sauce up with hands, jut put the pack of sauce on top of the cover of the pot where u booing the noodles for like 10-15 seconds.
I usually add 2 to 4 pcs of steamed bok choy miu to add a bit of greens on it so it's not just eggs, carbs and salt. I add a bit of chili oil too or togarashi for heat.
Lisa you should try light stir frying the noodles with the sauce and seasoning + add more sweet soy sauce and a little bit of oyster sauce, the caramelization will add so much more umami!
@@atharvasrivastava6960 I think after u boil the noodles then strain it then put all the sauces in a pan and put the noodles on it then put it over low heat and add hoisin or oyster sauce do that for about 5 minutes then serve it
you should try putting just the sauces in the bowl first then adding the noodles and mixing it around then add the flavour and the fried onion after but not all at once, if you do 2 packs of noodles, add the seasoning then mix then do it again for the second pack. soooo much more flavour imo
When I make these, I boil the water and then soak the noodles. Then I add a small amount of water and extra neutral oil to the sauce base, and stir fry the noodles in the sauce.
I know I'm a light weight but I find the chilli in Indomie Mi Goreng quite hot. Where exactly is the heat in the packets? I don't normally have trouble with sweet chilli sause. Is there chilli powder in the seasoning?
i like putting some green and red peppers, sambal oelek (like a teaspoon) or chinese chili garlic sauce (again a teaspoon) and either beef, pork or chicken in this 🤤💕
In Indonesia, we also have spicy indomie, it's called mie cakalang, it's really good, and enjoyable, and there is also indomie hype abis, and it's not really enjoyable, it's definitely spicy, but it's kinda good, I almost threw up eating that, but I was 12 when I ate that so yeah
I've been buying these recently, and I'm in the UK. It only comes with 4 extra packets, not 5 like the ones shown here. The ones I've been buying are missing the orange sauce.
I believe most Indomie noodles sold in Europe now are made in their factory in Serbia. They don't have the chili sauce or the fried onions. The reviews I read on Amazon almost uniformly say that the original Indonesian ones are better. I only managed to find the Serbian ones so far here in Italy so I can't compare.
I feel like if you actually fry the noodles with the sauces and flavourings the taste is enhanced. (Also, mozzarella or pizza cheese tastes good with it)
Quick advice so apperantly im from Africa and in my part of country this is the commonest food there. The way to cook it rightly is to add all the ingredients to the noodles as its cooking it would make it taste even more better and not too salty or have that much seasoning you would taste in it .( Its like my favorite food ) This would really help you I promise ( I think)
@@mudalad1215 I’ve never gotten sick from it, been eating for years but yeah apparently people get sick so can heat it again or leave it in the pit and stir the egg in first I guess
ok so i tried for the first time, (now) i mixed the sauces and cooked the noodles and mixed it but it was so bland and i remembered i forgot to add the seasoning. it was very flavorful and very good
FYI to anyone who may see this, the chili sauce is absolutely spicy, not to the point you need to ENJOY spicy food to handle it, but if you're someone who thinks pepper is too much, skip the chili sauce. I hate spicy food, it just ruins flavours for me, but this wasn't too hot, a bit uncomfortable but not so bad that I'll be skipping it the next time I put it all together, but it's definitely not a mild sweet chili, it has a small kick to it.
The Indomie Mi Goreng noodles I got do not come with hot sauce :( They taste pretty sweet. I probably need to add a bit of additional spices next time I make them.

@Brian Peppers lol 😂 and Yes 😂😂😂
I use the boiling water to heat up the oil packet.
One instant dip and its liquefied. Easier to pour.

Yesss
I always add some peas (from freezer, defrost in same water cooking noodles), some slices of bell pepper and 2 eggs sunny side up. Time needed 5 min.
Breaking the egg yolk and mixxing it into the noodles at the end did it for me.
indomie is my FAV dry ramen
Nice! Do you eat it by itself or do you add sides to it?
@@ChewOnItCo your not asking me, but I dont know the real way to prepare eggs (as a side)
Fried egg and migoreng slaps. I crush the fried garlic? fried onion? into fine powder cause I'm not a fan of biting into them.
