Songs when I was younger were so soothing, nice to hear. Very different from the songs of today, w/ all the shoutings, yellings.
I'm 68 but this 70s compilation has made me feel like a 20 year old again! I can't help but bop around to the beat! So many of these songs take me back to particular places and the people I was with at that time. Better than any blood pressure pills or statins!

Portrait of my love, my Dad’s favourite song. Can remember him singing this while driving us around as kids. We just piled into the car and he just used drive without any plan, just see where we ended up. My Mum died ten weeks after we lost him and we played this at her funeral. I will always love this song, it brings but the best memories but also makes me sad at the same time.
