when in 1997 I was 27 years old. I always drive the car to go to work projects with my father.. he asked me to buy Matt Monroe cassettes for him to remember when he was young when he worked in Hong Kong in the 60s. and I just found out that the singer of the song Born Free is Matt Monroe. four years ago my father left us going to the creator at the age of 88.. rest in peace, sir, in heaven.. amen

One of the best, even all these years later. I worked with him once and he was a lovely man and a great pro.
One of the first cinema experiences I had was seeing Born Free and the song has stuck with me ever since such a great performance there are true classics that are timeless and this is one of them along with the artist who performed them, There will rarely be in the future more Matt Monroes, Bobby Hatfields, and the likes of those with pure unadulterated talent that no matter how hard they try can never be replaced by technology.
