Wonderful, as always, Chloe. I really appreciate being able to watch you in real time. It is especially helpful to hear you explain your intention and process.
Thank you Glenn !!!!

Thank you!!! ☺️☺️☺️
I am trying to be as transparent as possible in how I build grades and my priorities in creating a look :)
This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you Chloe!!
I am so glad it helped you Marion ! ☺️
Beautiful workkkkkkkk
Thank you ! All thanks to your footage! 🔥
Whoa! I've been INTENSELY learning Resolve for about 6 months now, spending hours per day with special focus on colour grading (was a photographer/photoshop artist for 15 years). I've watched the best from Cullen Kelly and Qazi and others and this was my favourite so far! NOBODY else has showed how to properly grade in a Davinci Wide/Intermediate Colour Managed workspace when using Cineon (or even Rec709) LUTs until I found this video. I'm going to call this node CST setup the "Frenchie CST Sandwich". THANK YOU! You are a wonderful teacher.
Liked, Subscribed and looking forward to more!
Thank you for the kind words Dris !!!
I really appreciate you sharing your experience 🙏🏻
Ahahah, yeaaaah let’s call that the Frenchie CST Sandwich yes ! 😝😝😝
Very interesting tuto Thanks ! 🥰😘
Thank you Michel ! :)
Awesome 👍👍👍
Thank you !!! 🙏🏻
Well done as usual Frenchie. Thanks!
Thank you Joshua ! 😊
@@frenchiecolorgrading Chloe, do you like to work on the timeline level for your look?
@@jkdrake1 I like to work on the timeline level (really convenient, it really speed up my process) when I don’t have to jump in other color spaces like what I am doing in this tutorial :)
Great video!!!
Thank you ! :)
If only I could grade half as good as you!
If only I could direct half as good as you ! :p
Your DP is very good, you can't do half the things you did on there with sub standard footage, You'd have to work the footage more
Exactly ! Because as colorists we are a support to the photography. The look of your grade will also depend on the decision taken on set by the DP.
Knowing this, it is then very important to create a look that helps the image and not replacing what had been done :)
@@frenchiecolorgrading Right! I pray for footage like this, rarely get it
How to u make your node color red CST node
This the color to say that the cache is rendering. You can enable it by going to playback >smart render cache
THX for video, put your camera higher for better composition - to the eye level (0:01) :P
Thank you for the comment !
That was the full take for a project, the in and out point were not this ahah
This is only to show the breakdown of the grade :)
@@frenchiecolorgrading I know and I'm just trying to help, since I'm both a cameraman and a grader (slightly advanced)
