  • Singapore will soon roll out advice on how people can avoid heat injuries. The Sustainability and the Environment Ministry will make this available in the coming weeks, as temperatures are expected to rise in the next few months. CNA spoke to Dr Ong Pei Yuin, a consultant in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the National University Hospital, and asked her about heat stress injuries.

What is the agenda? while COP27 agreement on emissions was a step backward from Glasgow progress example “phase down of unabated coal” rather than “phase out of coal”. Do you think US and China and India will stop burning Coal?
There is no reason to collect more carbon tax or any climate change taxes from Singaporeans, per se.

Hovering between 27degC and 31degC according to the weatherman in a windless day. ASHRAE 55 Human Comfort Zone will say that the humidity is high causing discomfort. That's about all.
    Didn't the weatherman said is the seasonal hottest months of the year?. And also according to the natural climate cycle, its the Cyclical variations in the Earth's climate and here is the basis;
Ref: Meteorological Service Singapore recorded 26 Mar 1998 [note the date] - the Highest Daily Maximum Temperature (°C) On Climate Station was 36.0 deg.C and on Tengah Station was 37.0 deg.C recorded on the 17 Apr 1983.

Smile a bit lah, Ms Loke. We're already experiencing heat stress. Don't stress us further with such a blank demeanour as though there's a heat wave in the CNA studio. Doesn't CNA train its newscaster how and when to smile? Is CNA a "friendly" channel? 😂

PAP is simply not interested to innovate and swing the balance in favor of the Citizen.
Instead of addressing the total human needs - unhappiness, anxiety, instability, stress, lack of confidence in the future, PAP is narrow in its matrix which focuses on economic, healthcare, and physical environment.
There was no clear strategy however to address Singaporeans’ employment anxieties, persistent since the watershed GE2011. The groundswell unhappiness then was due to unfettered mass immigration (as opposed to selective immigration), complaints of discrimination against citizens in securing jobs by foreigners who are gaming the system. These anxieties never abated.

After 60 horrible years of giving them all the power and money, they have grown arrogant enough to disregard Singaporeans and in fact in so many ways, they have shown and said in many ways how they despise real Singaporeans and in fact view themselves as god's that the citizens should be eternally grateful and indebted to.

The "AI use in agriculture" lady.
    Heat stress adaptation.
    Oh! Ok!
Have to work with MND, MoE 4 eye 👁 meet on Apparel & Textile trade development.
Apparel design for "heat stress" dissipation. Includes helmet, jacket to be used in uniformed units, construction, street sanitation, agriculture workers, landscape workers, logistic workers and outdoor activity for children.
This is niche high value industry. In future, we need space workers muscle tensor suits.
    Good show, MoS&E.
    Your flop statement is forgiven.

New molecular science for material is niche, perfect for Singapore, we use Taiwan & Malaya base for batch production and apparel assembly in Thailand or Malaya. The KMT-NRA plus auxiliary is a market base worth $4.0 trillion, we need MITI to negotiate the details.
      Good show, Grace Fu.

The incompetent oppositions always talk big in parliament but are never able to come up with viable proposals or solutions to address real-life issues. 🤣🤣
