How is it possible I watch your hot tub repair videos, and now that hot tub is fixed, I'm going to the same guy for my Porsche horn repair 😂. Thx for the help!
Bro, thanks SO much for this video. Just fixed mine with $2.00 worth of O-rings from ACE. Horn works fine now and doesn't stay on. AND I didn't spend $100+ on a new bracket w/bushings. THANK YOU!
Any idea why my B3 fuse may be blowing? I too replaced the o-rings, but something is causing it to trip. I just started getting the horn to go off when breaking and then it just went off on its own in the middle of the day. So I pulled the fuse and that’s when I went to get the o-rings. I followed similar steps, and the only thing I can think of is that I must have moved other wires by accident, and I did have the metal plate hanging by the wire connected to it (I didn’t disconnect this all the way). I just let it dangle while putting the o-rings on each side of the 4 bushings.
I have read that Porsche recommends replacing those 4 bolts when doing this. Also, the 2 torx and the 4 bolts all have torque specs. Did you torque yours to spec? If not, what was the reason? I am trying tomato out what I really need to do vs not do for when I tackle this. Thanks!
Great video, I'm about to do mine. I have already broken 2 torx, so I bought a $28 single t-27 and I'm hoping after soaking in WD-40 it will work this time
@@spaguyhowto7417 I should have used WD-40 the first time. Apparently from my reading, there is LOCTITE on the threads, and WD-40 fixed that, and it came off super easy.

I would thing maybe you pinched a wire when installing the horn plate..

Good video. But what’s a “Boxter”?
