Hi John... I really like this piece... well turned and great effect with the paint on the textured surface... Great video... Take care...All the best.....Andy
Hi John, That is really really amazing. I love it. Stewart has been a great inspiration to me as well. Great video mate and sorry I missed the premier. Take care John. Cheers, Huw
No worries about not making the premiere. It's not at a time that suits everyone, just a time that I know I should be free. Thank you for watching and commenting. This was a a lot of fun to make, though o was not always sure how well the end product was going to look. Have to say I surprised myself.
I was about to send you this video Paul to let you see the technique with the Jo Sonja paints but then decided to check the comments... and here you are! Ahead of me as usual. Best Wishes, Brendan.
Thank you Roy. I do have frog tape somewhere, just got to find it again. Though it was not that which caused the issue with the lines. It would have been fine if the dremel did not slip. Though, with what I have on the lathe at the moment, the frog tape may have been the better bet. Thanks for the tip. Am loving the herald. Definitely the right choice of upgrade from what I had.
It really looked like you were messing up a good piece of wood, John. Never stop surprising me with the results. Looks like that new lathe is doing well, too?
Very nice, John. I really like all the contrast going on between the colors and the wood. Awesome job. 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Kris. I am definitely pleased with the outcome and was surprised with how well it worked. Already starting to plan what I can do next.
Very nice, Jiggsy! I would be nervous doing that, also but it came out great. Thanks for the mention, I hope to return the favor soon!
