So as a 67 year old male who doesn't swear normally You think that anyone should be allowed to use profanity around me and my family ever? This is NOT something you can regulate. A simple apology at the time should suffice, however Neither my engineering eldest son, or my Junior CEO executive son swear publically. I know I personally live in a public bubble where no one swears around me at work, now or ever in the past. I was kicked out of the school 6th form swear box because I won it every week. I fully understand as an ex athelete that swearing is a thing, and in my time in The Royal Navy there seemed to develop around me a no swearing bubble. I personally think that people who swear have lost the plot, or run out of the correct English word to use, and in negotiations at work and in the RN this was the case most often than not. I can abuse you personally with my grasp on English far more effectively than you can me with your profanity, Grow up, no one needs to swear in Public at all ever. I do NOT have to be subjected to you or anyone else swearing because they think it maks them look cool.

In my view, it’s time to call out the issues with FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem’s leadership style. His approach-marked by inconsistent rules, public criticism, and a lack of transparency around fines-just isn’t working and doesn’t show the respect drivers deserve. Instead of open dialogue, it often feels like we’re met with top-down decisions that can be frustrating, especially when it impacts personal freedoms or fairness. The FIA needs leadership that respects drivers as professionals, focuses on what really matters in motorsport, and commits to better communication and transparency. It’s time for meaningful change to bring everyone together.

The fact that he is not in danger of being replaced raises a lot of questions. This is far beyond members of the sport, and the fans not liking their decisions. This is critical failure from a business perspective and a high level leadership perspective. The removal of oversight into the FIA's operations and decision making. The removal of the ability for the teams and drivers to have an opinion on the rules, regulations, and decisions that affect them directly. And among a host of other issues as severe as these, now we hear that the drivers and teams are not able to get confirmation on where that money is going????
What kind of madness is this?? "I can fine you, and you are not privileged to know where this money is going"?? We need to wake up and realize that Ben is abusing his position with a dictator mindset and that will not stand ANYWHERE!

Everything FIA and President asking for, is justified. It is for the betterment of the F1 drivers, better behaviour (language where audience are also young children). F1 drivers are always under the limelight and it comes with responsibility to behave appropriately. Fines wont even affect the pockets of these drivers and teams. Hence the practical part of community service- as that will hard to the F1 drivers and will think twice before swearing next time! Current FIA president is doing a much much better job than the previous guy (who likes to get tied up and whipped :D ).
