In my view, it’s time to call out the issues with FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem’s leadership style. His approach-marked by inconsistent rules, public criticism, and a lack of transparency around fines-just isn’t working and doesn’t show the respect drivers deserve. Instead of open dialogue, it often feels like we’re met with top-down decisions that can be frustrating, especially when it impacts personal freedoms or fairness. Awesome to see a topic where F1 fans can all agree on
agree
Fia has gone completely mad , that man or what you would call him is a joke . This is not a childrens playground , its a competetive high grade racing event or rather it should be . But this joke have made it a soap opera , with his idiotic punishments for nothing .
Where were you guys on Sao Paulo Grand prix? 😂😂
Not at the press conference...
They were there?
You still haven't got ouver this?
Are you so mindless that you just stupidly repeat idiotic comments thst Max says?
@@blueguy12345 "you still haven't got over this" bro says when it's not even been a week but still talks about 2021 XD XD that's freaking awesome
@@Frostbyte-Game-Studio now where did I talk about 2021 in this thread?
I always got the feeling that MBS thought of himself as being above everyone around him.
I'm 50/50 on this. People follow professional conduct at work where you can't swear. Is it that hard to not swear? I mean they didn't use the language when they were kids. Other sports ban or edit out swear words.
you missed the WHOLE point. He should not FINE the driver or call him out.
I miss Bernie.
Get this man out of that position
Good reminder to everyone to join their union if possible, we're all stronger together against bullies like Sulayem!
lets remember the guy in question binned an F1 car in a drag race
His career was based on real talent, honest...........
Yup, after refusing assistance 😂
Even as a fan I feel deeply ashamed.
The F word is the greatest export of Great Britain
😂 although my personal vote goes to Bollocks 🇬🇧🏆
Think you mean England pal
@@Bugsygb1 got a map kid ?
Serious? WTF
Didn't know that!
@@paullavallee1631 kid? you are a mong ;)
Wow! The letter certainly makes it very clear.
Wonder if they’ll ask bin Sulayem to stop wearing Arab national dress when attending racing events as it might get caught in a wheel…or some other piece of mechanical equipment!?
It's also deeply offensive for some of our snowflakes...
Sailing close to the wind, but have to agree.
good one
We live in hope :D
Gladitors???? Its spelt - Gladiators. Do Sky not proof read first?
Jean Todt was a great FIA President. This new fella is an absolute clown and has done nothing to improve F1. He should quit and join the Labour Party. He’d be in good company with them muppets
FIA is a joke
so the fia is loading up their pocket with fines which would later become performance benefits towards their salary 🤔
The guys put their lives on the line every time they get in the car, you will always get the occasional slip of the tongue especially under pressure, give them a break !!
lol they're not putting lives on the line in modern f1, maybe some neck and back soreness
@@lukekay7952 They're not until they are, no matter how safe the technology accidents happen
Get in there George!!
Ben Sulayam is unsuitable for F-1. Get rid of him..
Time for MBS to step aside....
Swearing whilst driving is one thing, during a press conference is entirely avoidable and deserves punishment. Football was used as an example, but they follow the same principle: on-field is treated differently to off-field.
yup NFL, NBA; but TEAM or coach can pull player aside and say "hey we'll get in trouble so watch your language."
my favourite bit is @0:30 seconds when you can hear some random counting. Jesus Christ and you want to blame the drivers, you're the broadcasters putting out the bad language and not censoring it.
Everything FIA and President asking for, is justified. It is for the betterment of the F1 drivers, better behaviour (language where audience are also young children). F1 drivers are always under the limelight and it comes with responsibility to behave appropriately. Fines wont even affect the pockets of these drivers and teams. Hence the practical part of community service- as that will hard to the F1 drivers and will think twice before swearing next time! Current FIA president is doing a much much better job than the previous guy (who likes to get tied up and whipped :D ).
disagree
Kick him out, and kick out Johnny Herbert and SKY sports too, for being unreasonably biased against the man that saved F1 singlehandedly: Max Emilian VERSTAPPEN.
Mohammed Ben Sulayem is bringing arab culture to F1. its a culture of the east meeting european liberalism.
You cannot argue with that Arab money they run the show now.
Imagine him banning swearing to the NASCAR drivers and let's see what's gonna happen?😂
good one !!!!!! send him to Nascar !!!!!! lol
The problem is Ben S.
what happened to the FIA being a faceless and nameless organization for racing and racing only
YES! Good for them!! 💪 Now call out Sky Sport.... Oh, Max already took care of it in Brasil. LJ
He's trying to instill his strict Muslim disciplines and beliefs onto the drivers. Sorry bud, this isn't Dubai where you can police morality
Pretty brutal statement😂
salman needs to be fired
If you hate swears, just put a 10seconds delay on your live transmissions, like what you do with the race. If you don't like spending 5cents on doing that, the fault is yours.
Thanks for putting Slater in the thumbnail, it means I can turn on subtitles and silence the volume before hitting play.
Strike
what about the part of the post talking about media?
Where does this guy come from..? I can't think of anywhere where it would be acceptable to tell people what thet can or can't wear or can or can't say...
Moslim?
He's a Emirati so yeah...
Not the most progressive and accepting of cultures.
Funny this poppepd up on my feed so many years after i stopped watching. I dont udnerstand how anyone can take F1 seriously anymore after 2021.
Ngl George cooked👨🏻🍳
Delay broadcast 10 seconds and blank it out if it's really necessary.
Well done to the drivers. The drivers are collateral in the bigger FIA/F1 war for control.
Max speaks french right? Justcswear in french snd you just get a talk. They will confuse him with a driver they do like. And forget for a moment that they have been trying to fix races for quite some time. Yet the FIA chairman can say disgusting things about women with no repercussions...
🙂
Craig Slater utterly unbearable to watch.
Or listen to.
Don't watch then.
but you’re here… watching
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You guys just calling out Max? Charles got hit too.
this is Sky in their eyes it's normal to call out Max in a negative way
