that is awesome to watch your videos , we are thinking to do this camino next year family of 4 🙊 but im not quit sure understand how the albergues works 🤔 and how many hours you walk every day ?? amazing experience
The albergues are super simple, they are only for people who are walking the Camino. And usually they are first come, first served. Unless, they are private albergues (which are still only for people walking the Camino) but these can be pre booked in advance. If I were to recommend a Camino for you, the Camino Frances is the main route, it has the most infrastructure for walkers and lots of wonderful Camino surprises! Usually a walking day is 6 hours of actual walking time, with a couple of hours for breaks and food stops. Though you can always walk shorter days and just take a longer time to complete the walk. Like a 12 day walk, might take you 14 days or 20 days. Our first Camino was supposed to be a month and we took 45 days 🤣
