Emotional NSPCC ad of a baby boy called Miles. The voice over asks people to 'Open there eyes to the abuse around them and give £2 a month to the NSPCC'.
I really didn't get what's so weird about the AD at first, but then I paid attention to that sound effect. PWING!! That's just bizarre. Also, the music is "An Ending (Ascent)" by Brian Eno, and it has been used in many, many places.
i genuinely try so hard not to laugh at the door table fist part i wish i didnt find it funny, its worse when im with company and this comes on and people look at me like some wannabe child abuser
@nibbler911 Try punching a table. See if it makes the same sound as in the video. They're mocking the unrealistic sound effect. Just because something tries to be dramatic and powerful doesn't mean it can't fall flat on it's face in the attempt.
/watch?v=P0n4hclzCyE I first seen this ad years ago on TV. Only today I watch it and realise that is the same song that plays through the doctor sketch in the first episode of Chris Morris' Jam show. Mindfuck.
A door...
a table...
*CLANG*
A FIST.
LMAO
Ouch, that’s harsh!
The Door table fist massive still here in 2020 👊🚪
A door.... a table.... *CLANG* ...MY HAND!
The song in 28 Days Later is the same as this one, and is An Ending (Ascent) by Brian Eno. It has appeared in dozens of other places.
You still alive x?
This was one effective advert
Dispite the table, fist, and chair thing, this commercial actually gets to you a bit.
A door... a table..... BANG! a fist. (Ouch! my hand!)
0:12 A door..... A table.....
0:15 OUCH! MY HAND!! .....a fist!
A door... A table... *CLANG*...a fist.
a door a table SSSPPAANNGGGGGGG a frying pan.
This advert used to make me so sad still does
0:12 A door, a table, BANG! a fist.
This is why it's given as an example of narm on tvtropes

Thanks, man!
Apparently, his fists.... are made of steel.
I know someone said the track was done by Brian Eno but it sounds like one of the tracks in 28 Days Later. Either that or one of the trailers for it
i genuinely try so hard not to laugh at the door table fist part i wish i didnt find it funny, its worse when im with company and this comes on and people look at me like some wannabe child abuser
A door... A table... CLANG!... *The Game*
I am finding it very difficult to tell what Tom has on his duvet.
NOOOO!!! My sugary good mood has died epically!!!
The only good thing about this commercial is the Brian Eno track playing in the background.
Why does this music sound so familiar?
HE HAS TONY HAWK PRO SKATER!

Poor miles
yep, some kind of foley dissonance (the clang is obviously out of place), and maybe soundtrack dissonance too.
