Man, Sonikku and SSNTails were really fond of extremely narrow corridors in these early designs. It makes it even more impressive how they managed to nail the design of GFZ2 on the first try. Out of all levels, it's probably the one that's changed the least from its earliest version to 2.2.
Unknownlight I would argue that Arid Canyon Zone itself has changed the least, unless you count Rocky Mountain Zone and Mine Maze Zone as part of that. Greenflower’s earliest builds were entirely 2D, while Arid Canyon made its debut in 2.0 and was remade for 2.2.
@@DylanDude That's fair, although if you were counting it that way then obviously Egg Rock Zone has changed the least. I was thinking more in terms of how many years they've been around (and I wasn't really considering the 2D versions).

I legitimately did not believe Act 2 in the Demo 2 Beta had a goal post. I had to look in Zone Builder and find it and map out my route through the level that way.
By the way, do I you plan to cover the demo 2 only zones like Mine Maze and Dark City? Or are you only going to do the stages from the current versions? And also is Black Core going to have it’s own video? Because originally i believe those were a part of Egg Rock.
Snoogleflorp Mine Maze and Rocky Mountain are going to be part of the Arid Canyon video. As for Dark City and Grand Eggship (Doomship), I might shove them together into a “scrapped levels and more” video along with the cut multiplayer stages, but that’s up in the air right now.
Honestly while the new version is a massive improvement overall, I do wish they kept Deep Sea Act 1’s theme, I think it would fit the new version even more than the old one. Or at the very least, they could have used it for Azure Temple, fitting that level’s use of prior Deep Sea tunes (but then it would not compliment the insane difficulty as much). They could even throw in a bit of that one leitmotif heard in every 3D Blast Saturn level, I think it would work kinda well and surprise older fans playing it.
