The story of JIMMY THE GREEK!!

- On the 7th July 2018 I stumbled across 4 gorgeous little kittens living at the old dump in Skiathos. Over the next week, I went to visit them every day to give them food and attention. After a few days I had named them; Charlie, Marley and Timmy. The skinny little black one I called him Jimmy.
This is his story.

"I can't exactly adopt every cat I come across." This is what I try to do but they keep coming to my door:"D
It doesn’t work out for Philip either. He’s adopted Harriet, Jimmy and now also Severus from Skiathos. Moo is also in England
@@molybdomancer195 I've ended up adopting 6 more cats since, lol
A brilliant piece of film making, the cats are adorable. Wanting to adopt and name every cat is normal, it's what makes up human.
Hi, I discovered your channel today and immediately subscribed. You’re such an amazing human and I love watching your stories about your awesome fur friends! I wanted to share a story with you, about a gentleman, who‘s quite possibly your doppelgänger, living in the U.S.! I met him through our local police department (located in Long Beach, MS). He’s a retired police officer. Word gets around in our small town, and I heard he’s always lovingly helped cats. I believe it, because I’ve seen him helping cats for the past 10 years. He goes above and beyond helping stray cats. It’s extraordinary! He helps get them spayed/neutered and released somewhere safe. The cats who aren’t eligible for release, for their own safety (i.e. partially blind or declawed), he helps find them forever homes, if he doesn’t fall in love with them and keep them. He names all of them. He’s mentioned not naming them, so he wouldn’t get attached, but reluctantly names them anyways. When he comes across injured cats, he gets them to the vet for medical attention and pays out of his own pocket. He’s completely nonprofit. He helps catch them, nurse them back to health, and released them back where he found them. All of the cats he’s found are in safe places, all around the city, and on a route! Everyone can tell, it brings joy to his big heart, to travel his daily route, feeding and taking care of all of them. I haven’t seen him ever miss a day, rain or shine. I cannot wait to tell him about you. It truly makes the world feel like a better place to know there’s more selfless, big-hearted and compassionate people out there looking out for such wonderful animals. Thank you for being a lovely person and positive role model!
What a beautiful story!
Very good man.
You are an angel❤❤😻
Beautiful film from a beautiful human. Thank you for this!
So sad to know that there are so many homeless animals....those kittens are so cute!
Thank you for everything you do ❤️
We have a black Greek cat too! Her name is Andrea and we found her in Corfu and brought her to the UK with the help of a charity and she is the most amazing, loving and clever cat. I love your videos, I hope you make more and thank you for saving these beautiful cats.
Thank you. Here are the documentaries I made about the Skiathos cats on my main channel :) ua-cam.com/play/PLosidvCjJdTuoDucT12kdwyQdzuiRFMp0.html
You are kind and gentle man with a beautiful soul! Just recently came across your videos. Truly enjoy them!
Lovely video and simply adorable cats! So glad he found a good home ❤️
Great video as always! I've seen all of your Skiathos docs. Jimmy is really lucky he met you!
Thank you. I am really lucky I met him :)
You are so lovely!!!!
Timmy is beautiful! Wonderful videos, can't wait for more
Lovely Timmy, the timidest of them. He comes out of his shell once he gets to know you but I doubt he will ever be adopted now. I wish I had a HUGE house with lots of land away from roads so I could have adopted them all and the others from the films I made out there.
Hopefully soon you will post your video of the Catio. Looking forward to more videos. Soon you will have 1000 subscribers.
Glad you shared this again which helps to showcase the need to support the Skiathos kittens.
Such cute cats.🐱
They are as cute as can be! They are soooo pretty.
what a nice cat family, i really enjoy watching, so cute
I always named the homeless cats I fed; Lovey, Lilly, Tigerette, Little One, James Bond...🐈🐱😻😼😺😽
Great video as always
We would love to adopt some of these cats!
Had you the chance to adopt a cat in the last 2 years? And took it?
Thank you for saving theme 🥰
What a great story ❤
they're so beautiful :)
Amazing videos and I really hope the last kitties will get adopted soon, is there any way the Wild at Heart Foundation can take care of them and get them adopted elsewhere?
💕
ok literally as a cat person, it breaks me everytime i have to leave a stray behind. one time in my college town, i saw this cat in the middle of the road. i ended up being able to chase it off to get it off of the road since i didn't want it to get hit by cars, but it was limping and i ended up losing it since it was dark. broke my heart since i wanted to help it/
you tried though and that is more than most would do
Love your channel!
Awe! As a lady with 8 cats I want to adopt them all but can't. The 8th one just showed up at my place. We guess someone just dumped him off. People can be such buttholes. I usually don't have to wait long before another one comes after one passes away.
It's really sad. These guys were lucky. Most are put in plastic bags and put in the dustbins :(
Do you do your own video editing? It’s brilliant. 😊
Thank you. Yes i do
Oh please tell me the two other furrbabies were adopted! They are such loving little guys...
Sadly no, and unlikely to. There is maybe 20 adoptions a year from the charity and most of them are kittens. Adult cats rarely get adopted, blacks cats especially. There are also so many tabbies there that you would have to spend a lot of time with the 200 or so charity cats to get to see how wonderful individual cats are. When it is possible to go back there I will go see them and give them some fuss.
I love your videos! You are so kind to be doing what you are doing. Did you have a chance to check on the two kitties? If they don't get adopted, do they keep them at the charity? @@OneManFiveCats
