A nice little earner for a change Peter , I had a phone call today asking me would I be interested in doing around 10 turbo replacement jobs a week?, my answer was a simple response NO 😂😂😂😅, we do enough crap jobs of our own , let the "specialists" do them ,I hope the customer wasn't too embarrassed when they came to collect it 😂👍
Who the heck would need to replace 10 turbos a week 🤔😂😂😂😂 You should have said ‘no bother’ then been so expensive that if you got them the hardship wouldn’t matter 🙂🙂
Ups, didnt expect that :-) I had similar problem, but it was caused by original bulb with two wolfram threads partialy melted together after many years. If I switched the lights at the evening the one thread got hot, moved by the heat to another and the brake lights were lit too. It took qiute a time to figure it out. :-)
@@damienkearns9922 familiarity is a great help when manoeuvring complex and differing makes & models. It helps find an answer that bit faster. Cheers Damien 🙏🙏
Had this on a Yaris, Peter - did my head in for ages. I was a lot slower than you in copping the issue. :-) Todays "Fun" is a Defender sitting out there with nothing electrical working.. I am person 4 to look at it. So far I have it starting on the key - which it didn't. No doubt it will be really simple to get everything else working. Not.
Figured out the Defender in 10 minutes flat - everything grounding out -- pulled the loom out of the chassis where it had had previous welding - wires all burnt into a ball out of sight. Really common fault that baffles people till they figure it out the first time - a lot like that Toyota bulb ^. New rear loom, she'll be grand. That's also a "snag" on Landrovers - loom runs down inside the chassis - lads forget & chop it when cutting out rot, or they burn it when welding & are then mystified when the electrics go haywire. Easily done.
@@jamesward5721 I was just saying familiarity is key to fast, easy & comprehensive repairs. That is just proof. 10 minutes and an unfix able car fixed 💪💪💪💪

I used to own a Clio, and when I pressed the brake pedal the ABS light came up on the dash. It ended up being a bit of corrosion on the rear light cluster
The fix it easy but the diagnosis would have cost me ages. Thanks for sharing, I learned something new today!
This is quite a common little problem. I knew what was wrong the moment I pressed the brake. But it is a handy one to remember, cheers Lukas 🙏
Cool video brother. I though you was about to show us some green monsters in the back light connectors from water ingress.
Not on this occasion, nice handy fix & a pretty common fault 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Customer won't being doing that again ha ha@@kennedysgarage3281

Me too, a simple man made fault. Good old Toyota 🙂🙂

Well done for getting to the end of it mate 💪💪💪
Had the same issue on an audi, keep up the great content 👌
Man made problems are half the battle, thanks mate 🙏🙏
That’s a great one Peter…and not an Autel in sight 😂👍🏻
😂😂😂 I had a lad in trying during the week trying to sell me a Launch euro tab 3 but I am enjoying using me Autel 🤔🤔
@@kennedysgarage3281 I'd think the Autel is hard bet...have one..but on the other end of the pricing scale but a great little unit...

Should be a law if you ever touch or replace a part from a car. You should put your initials on it.
😂😂😂😂
If you could only do jobs like this all day, instead of dropping engines to get at turbos, you'd be a happy man.
The joints in my body would definitely be happier Adam 😂😂😂😂

Some of your tasks could make great videos, that defender sounds interesting 🤔🤔🤔

10k subs Peadar. Fair play. Nice work thanks for sharing.
I just noticed after I read your comment, a nice little milestone to hit 🙏🙏
Name and shame whoever done that.😂
No one too exciting, just the owner trying his best 😔😔

That someone might be blind or utterly stupid 😂at least use same size bulb...😅 great video for fun 👍🏿
It is quite funny at times how very simple little problems can cause the biggest headache for people. (I have a serious wiring issue) 😂😂😂
Must be someone with no knowledge of the difference between twin element and single element bulbs I'd say the owner knows who done it🤔🤫
I believe the owner done it himself & though a bulb was just a bulb. A lesson he’ll quite possibly remember 😬😬
But Toyotas never break😂
We can’t really blame human error on Toyota though 🤔 or can we 😂😂😂😂
