@@mooreoutdoor9841 Thanks! We're from Lebanon and looking at going during the week of the 4th of July for a night. Didn't know if we would have a hard time finding a spot. We're newbies to the whole idea, but figured we could survive a night.
@@frostbyte32 It will probably be pretty packed out there on any holiday even though there are several islands out there. Hole in the Wall Island is good, Bear Island, Hunter, Pool Knob Island, are all good too. If you are kayaking, the tail on mousetail is good because regular boats can't get up to it because it's rocky and not a gravel bar. Good Luck!
@@mooreoutdoor9841 Thanks! We paddled around Trigger Island over the weekend. Didn't see any signs indicating camping, but saw one nice clearing that had been seriously trashed. Very sad! Are the campsites well marked?
@@frostbyte32 I did a video on Trigger Island also. The only campsite I know of is where the "hammer" of the gun is. There is an American flag there (if it's still there).
Enjoyed the video. The mouse tail was a good place to camp. Got the sunset and sunrise.
Excellent job on the editing and bird footage !
Yeah it worked out pretty good.
Enjoy watching. I thought maybe Billy was jumping in to catch a fish.
Yeah I was looking at something else and just saw him tip over out of the corner of my eye. I just wish I had the camera going when it happened.
whoa, creepy horse skull! wonder how it got there. beautiful trip!
Not sure. And it's a small island
Are the islands pretty empty during the week? Looking at going for an overnight trip.
Monday - Wednesday it would be easy to get a spot for sure. Thursday on gets tougher.
