These are cools but I wish I could use them with my Godox lights. Not planning on switching just to use these, but that's a novel idea I could see other manufactuers creating something like this. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for this comprehensive breakdown. I was on the fence about buying these flexi gels. After watching this I will be purchasing these for my teams.
Another great video, Matt. The fog effect is excellent. I need to give that a try with my set up. I want to use that technique for a shoot I am planning. Your video was really timely. Thanks.
The 400 pro flash head is significantly smaller than the FJ400. The 400 pro is only 2.36 inches wide. The flexigels are 3.46 inches wide. There is a gel kit that goes directly over the 400 flash head. It is not as convenient as the flexigels. It uses a rubber band system to hold the gel on the flash head, but it does let you mount the gel directly to the strobe.

Wondering if they would fit the godox 400
Thanks for watching!
Looks like Westcott stole the idea for the gels from Paul C Buff.
Did they????
Meh not worth it. The sheet gels are better. Can mix and match.
I agree the sheet Jill’s are a little bit more saturated, but that might change!
@@MattHernandez not just saturation but you can mix and match.

I've been curious about the differences! Thanks for showing us!
No problem!!
well, i think you definetely sold me on just sticking to sheet gels haha
I said I’d recommend the Flexi 😂. I think there’s benefits to both honestly.
Do they fit the godox 400 lights
You know I’m not sure, but it looks like they might from the photos I’ve seen.
