This is the song that I sang to each of my children as little babies whenever they would cry, especially when my wife and I couldn't get them to stop crying because we were not sure what they were crying about. There were times as they got older that I would sing this song when they were down about something.
When my wife went home to be with the Lord on March 19, 2018, I found myself singing this song at times to console myself in the "immediate" loss that I have here on earth and when I thought my children, now adults, were hurting over these past 17 months. I sang this song hoping and praying that they might hear it being sung by me through the Holy Spirit that lives in each of their lives, PTL!
I intend to include this song as a part of my funeral, dedicating it to my children and grandchildren until the love of my life here on earth and I see them again as we worship and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in eternity.
This is one of the most powerful worship songs in Christendom.
This was our 40th anniversary song my husband and me God blessed me to have him for fifty years I thank God for the beautiful memories rest in peace my love

When I am having a bad day such as today, my body hurting, I turn to the Lord and music about Him. It turns my mind toward the greatest gift ever given by our Lord. I know from my head knowledge that Jesus is all I need. But I felt the same as the young Gloria. I pray that as time goes by, I could experience more and more that in situations where I think I need something more, Jesus meets my needs with the words "I Am." I pray that as time goes by, I could speak from the deep of my heart that Jesus is all I need.

Beautifully done; So many BAD renditions/ if not "copies" of this song I was so happy to FIND IT. I recently discovered Kim Clement's PIANO at "Composing Live in 2009" a song I'd like to sing, myself sometime; SHORT much like this one, I'd call it "Jesus, What a Friend I've Found in You". I believe God spoke directly TO Kim Clement, as it's happened to me, also-though , of course I am not a prophet; And My Dear Lord, Master of the Universe, on my SoundCloud. NOW THIS IS, has become an advertisement ?! sorry! BEAUTIFULLY DONE- And Probably as reverently as God, Himself, would have wanted to HEAR it! Beautiful PRAYER too coordinate with the song, too.
