Piper's latest stuff is a new range that is basically their own unique take on a kiiiind of Space Elves but with a different background. The new range is called the Void Crafted (iirc). The models you show is this month's re-release of the older stuff, which is a separate tier for people who missed it originally. These were the tau-esque Fish Mech range. I wasn't sure about the void crafted to start with, but really enjoying them now. There is a combined tier for both Fish Mech re-releases and the new Void Crafted
On Anvil digital forge the coloured parts are ones that you can remove in blender. Wrt 3d prints and their feet, I agree designers need to keep in mind how it will attach to a base. A lot of female models will be in heels or posing on the tip-toes etc and it leaves you only the tiniest area to glue it to the base, often too small to even pin.
Oh that makes sense! Yep it’s so frustrating when you see a model that just doesn’t have much contact with the base because you know that it’s going to end up being so much more fragile.
Archvillain really needs to listen to your tip about connecting the model to the base. As amazing as those space elves are they look like a nightmare to ever transport
I really love this video series! Btw, we did hit the dismounted questing knight goal on the highland miniatures MMF campaign, so you have nothing to fear from me lol
Great collection - really impressed with Last Sword and Claymore out of this vid! My picks: Daybreak Minis also had some crafty gnomes in mechs last month, so the TitanForge ones are complimentary with those I think. Mammoth Factory this month has a Norse looking tribe in the Frostwilds (complete with dire bears!) that would go well with that Viking terrain. For fantasy armies, I recommend you keep an eye on Mierce Miniatures out of Nottinghamshire. They have some great troops this month incuding wyvern riders (spelled the Welsh way). Mierce minis when they are cast resin are quite pricy, so the value of subscribing to them is amazing!
I am a parasite game subscriber and I absolutely love his stuff wofar on the bear all of his stuff Prince wonderfully and the edges and the details are crisp on my 4K I mean the stuff is amazing The guy is awesome or the sculpts are awesome
I like the enthusiasm, and I like seeing the new models. Constructive criticism though - I think your commentary could use more work. At the moment you are mostly just telling the audience what they are looking at (which they already know unless they are blind) along with "looks fantastic". It would be good if you said something funny or insightful or interesting about the models. To demonstrate my point, here are the phrases you repeated most: 1) "looks fantastic" x21 2) "looks great" x19 3) "a lot / so much going on" x14 4) "I really like" x12 5) "looks amazing" x11 Perhaps I'm mental for recording how many times you repeated phrases. But it is the internet, you get all sorts of crazies on here. Ignore me if you happy with these videos.
I don't have a resin printer yet, but the way you describe weakening legs makes me wonder if you can glaze them with superglue to help support them. Hopefully apply smooth enough to paint well.
Loving this series mate. Sometimes it can be hard sifting through thousands of creators, so your efforts are much appreciated!
