Happy New Year!!! Thank you so much for this video. You have a way of making knitting easy. I bought your book years ago and it is one of my staples. I learned how to read the patterns and they are easy to follow. Buy the book if you haven't done so. I'm excited to get started on this hat and look forward to more projects in 2024!!!
I like the pattern but I only have fingering weight yarn (fine cotton). Is it possible to make it still with the yarn I have and how many stitches should I cast on for 1- 2 year old and an adult? Thanks for this pattern.
I love this pattern. If I wanted to make a blanket or something not knitted in the round, how would I get the seersucker look? Thanks for your clear instructions and beautiful patterns.

So wonderful to hear, thanks! 💖
I don't understand the double-sided needle. I don't own any and I don't understand what you're doing with them in this pattern. Thanks.
A big old Texas (without crushing your bones) hug, for this cute pattern. Happy New Year Sweet Girl!!
