That's some crazy amount of actual testing Back in my days on the PSP we would just use CWcheat with the overlay mod enabled to get the raw dmg values The cap up runs were very interesting to compare with the dps centric set too

I love nerdy videos like this that dives into technical mechanics Considering you had to hunt a lot of akantor with normal shot bullets, this must have taken a lot of time to make It's wise to take more than one test run, especially on the smaller monsters like khezu and daimyo cuz their hp is not fixed to one value (they have 4 different possible hp) I also like how you focused on one hitzone only, that makes the test very accurate indeed :) i hope you were able to maintain critical distance all throughout, but seeing your other vids, i dont think i should be too concerned about that I have only one complaint though, I don't think it is fair to compare 1 n2 singleshot to 1 n3 volley Maybe you should have included testing a gun with n2 rapidfire :) like Pollination for example But that would have taken even more time lol and u probably already spent too much time on this vid

I broke down a volley into 3 singleshots ( 0.6 x 5 burst = 3 singleshots of n3 bullets) and compared it to singleshot n2. So, it basically became comparison between singleshot n2 vs singleshot n3. That would have been easier & made more sense to compare 5 burst n3 volley to a 5 burst n2 volley. That's true 😊 Thanks for the input and lovely kind words, Arxx! I really appreciate it 😊🙏

nice dmg testing ^^ very interesting, will be helpfull once i start FU myself xD. U should definetly try Normal 3 Ammo in MH3U, the Ricochet in this game is really good and there are a lot of good normal HBG and LBG in 3u with huge clip sizes.

For now, I only kept a few old sets for N3 since I did N3-only playthrough. Auto-reload doesn't work with rapidfire, Mario. I'm a niche gunner who only uses Rapidfire Normal 3. Capacity Up set had to compete with the winner of the first two sets....to see which set is strongest for rapidfire normal 3 😊 . That's the whole point of the video. But auto-reload is meta in MHFU. Too bad I'm not a meta gunner. Lol. Just a weird rapid n3 enjoyer 😁

Why didn't you use Auto-Reload instead of Capacity Up?
Auto-reload doesn't work with rapidfire, Mario. I'm a niche gunner who only uses Rapidfire Normal 3.
