Gaffigan's been one of my favorite comics for, seems like forever. I have to quote a Gaffigan bit at least once a day.

I ran to the imdb to look and see Jim's acting history! Woooow 120 credits....and I am just now learning this! Definitely needs more recognition but it's endearing that it doesn't matter to him.

This week’s episode is delightful. Jim definitely opens up and he has so many great stories. He definitely has worked hard in his career and is definitely down to Earth. I learned so much about him. He definitely has stayed true to himself and his style of comedy. This is one of the main podcasts that I listen to.

When Covid lockdowns started I would watch Jim and his family on their youtube channel. It was a great encouragement so I will be thankful to them for it. Jim's wife is a treasure and his kids were a lot of fun.

I love Jim Gaffigan! He's so fun and funny! I remember my first introduction to him was during my Freshman year of HS when my English teacher played his hot pocket skit. Hilarious and classic! This interview was great, as expected. I enjoyed hearing how he got to where he is now. He really has done a LOT; I forget all the things, and he's so humble about it all. I also wondered if his brief time in "13 Going on 30" was going to get brought up XD I still remember that! So, yes, he's been around and done a lot. I wish him the best, and you too, Michael. You guys are awesome. This was a great talent to bring to the podcast.

Hearing this interview, it's sparked my interest to look into doing indie movies. My older sister, who was a motherly figure to me, died at the same age of 53 as Jim's mom. I can kind of relate going through a similar thing as he did after.

One of the best episodes for me personally in Monk was with Stanley Tucci guest starring as a fictional actor making a biopic about Adrian Monk by becoming the character of Monk. It was method acting to the extreme in the most hilarious way possible. What made that episode so great was it's a fictional show where it falls in its own fictional reality, the characters being real in that fictional reality, with an actor in that fictional reality wanting to portray Adrian Monk. I don't know if that was meta or not. If you get a chance #MichaelRosenbaum I highly recommend that episode #InsideOfYou.

Your questions lead him to deep and meaningful reflection which successfully exposed his humanity and greatness. I am a big fan of Jim Gaffigan, and truly felt that you took good care to make him the shiny, happy comedian that i know and love. I now appreciate Jim more than ever. Bravo. I look.forward to your future podcasts. You have won over a new fan.

I don't know Jim at all, so it is really great to be introduced to someone new. Linoleum sounds really intriguing, so I will definitely be looking out for it. I totally agree that all the places we have to stream from today, is a lot, I feel like I spend more time searching for stuff than actually watching it 😄. Really enjoyed what Jim had to say about feeling like he wasn't getting anywhere but being resilient and just keeping on, and staying true to himself, have to respect that ("You should go on The Tonight Show" really made me laugh). I also found his thoughts on, trying to achieve other people's expectations and ideas of success, really interesting, it's so easy to get caught up in thinking and like that, at the risk of losing your own sense of conviction. This was a great therapy session to listen to, thank you Jim. As always thank you Michael and Ryan.❤

The part about his childhood and searching for security but not actually interested in the work really hit home. I grew up in a small town in Missouri. In the marching band and a middle child. I didn’t end up a comedian but I also found a different direction in my 20s.

I'm usually a quiet viewer, I don't really comment... But I thought I would in case you guys were possibly open to some constructive criticism?
I really like the podcast & have watched a good 20ish episodes I think, but I find I'm not super consistent mainly because it requires more effort than I would usually put into tuning into a podcast, because of the way you guys have your ads set up...
Generally on podcasts they either have UA-cam ads switched off & instead read their sponsors, OR they have shorter UA-cam ads throughout...
I'm not sure why your settings are different, but this is the one podcast I tune into on UA-cam where the ads are consistently over 30 seconds? This basically means that it doesn't really work in the way I usually do podcasts on here, because it frequently plays 6min+ ads throughout, & I ordinarily don't access my device when listening to podcasts.... Meaning I find myself choosing something different, due to other podcasts having their UA-cam ads be under 30seconds meaning I don't need to skip them, I can just let them play through... Thus not interrupting my user experience etc.
I know this is weird feedback, but I thought I'd leave it, because I really do like your content... But find myself turning off/tuning out/being less consistent, purely because of the way these long UA-cam ads on this particular podcast pull me out of the experience...
Anyway, this is long, hopefully you or Ryan see this 🌻 Cheers either way 🌈

I know this is the wrong place and the wrong format and I'm going about this in the wrong way but somebody needs to know I am slowly being poisoned to death buy carbon monoxide poisoning from my landlord it would that didn't work fast enough they illegally took me to court where I stated I wasn't capable of making my own decisions cuz of post-traumatic stress on top of carbon monoxide poisoning on top of a kidney issue brought on by carbon monoxide poisoning on top of recuperating from a car accident that was not my fault I lost my job lost my car and now I'm going to illegally lose my home and everything in it including myself and my cat of 16 years.
I'm the last living person in my family I'm not old enough to be in Assisted Living I don't have a job I don't have unemployment the domestic violence situation in my recent past took any friend I had away from me which probably means they weren't my friends to begin with I was ambushed not only by the judge but by the attorney and by a mediator and my manager in court today I still don't understand why I was there I still don't understand what happened I still don't understand how they can get away with doing illegal activities.
I can't fight against criminals that break the law including the judge my rent was already paid by the government I proved it with receipts and if the landlord doesn't take partial payments and you can't agree on what you owe for rent that is why you go to court in order to get rental assistance you have to be at least 30 days behind in your rent payments or they won't help you so how is it I was evicted without giving a chance to pay through a government agency?
I also just found out after I left the courthouse that I was approved for personal loan through my bank and the landlord could have had their money paid in full and they still said no. They told a mediator they would work with me after the hearing because we needed to know what we agreed upon for what is due for rent from what the government paid in overpayments and what I can pay in person to stay current I was not given that opportunity they blackballed me and took me to court illegally on a case that they took me to court on last month that was thrown out dismissed in my favor with prejudice which means they can not reopen that case but that didn't stop them from taking me to court this month on that case which is why I was not understanding the court proceeding.
The landlord lied and said that they would work with the mediator and then they told the judge that they wouldn't work with the mediator they wanted me out this is after suffering three years of harassment bullying carbon monoxide poisoning maintenance issues that they refuse to fix for 6 months at a stretch where you're not allowed to use your kitchen for 6 months at a stretch I have lived here three years for a total of 1 year I was not allowed to use my kitchen due to maintenance issues flooding sewage rotted iout countertops feces infested appliances coughing up blood taking Falls having to call 911.
They can get away doing this the people for over 50 years because they give everyone Kickbacks I truly believe that because there's no other reason they would get away with doing this to not only me but to every other person that lives under nineteen of their properties.
My Health has deteriorated so bad that I can no longer take care of myself I was hoping to get a guardian to help me with decision-making but apparently I was lied to about that so I don't know what to do in ten days they're going to physically throw me out throw all my stuff in the trash and since I no longer have a car I am going to freeze to death with my cat there are no organizations that will help me even with my disabilities they all say I don't qualify for one reason or another.
I'm on Medicaid but you don't qualify for much with that everyone can take advantage of me because they know I can't defend myself I tried to go to churches for help and was turned away because I'm not with their congregation I don't go to their Church. I tried calling crisis centers but since I'm not suicidal they turned me away my herapist was supposed to help me get a guardian but apparently I was supposed to do that myself and I'm so confused and I have no energy I can't take care of myself mentally or physically and I'm just a few years shy of being a senior citizen so I don't qualify for anything
I did find the one place that I found that I do qualify for that would take me and my cat for an assisted living place that would take Medicaid but they do not have any openings they have a waiting list I have ten days if I don't die from carbon monoxide poisoning first.
I have some money from a personal loan that I didn't find out that I qualified for until after my court date todsy and the landlord refuse to take my rent in full for February so I don't have somebody to help me. I have no vehicle and I'm physically unable to pack my things and move them myself . I have two hip impingement without surgery correction and I have carpal tunnel in both wrists I had carpal tunnel surgery on one wrist and ulnar shortening which means they cut a piece of your bone out infused the rest together to give you more flexibility in your wrist I do have money for Movers but I have nowhere to move and I can't pack my own things by myself physically in 10 days. With absolutely no support and being totally alone for the first time in my life not being able to take care of myself physically or mentally does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?
I don't have the option to pay rent here anymore I have to move. I would need longer than 10 days but the court would not give it to me even after torturing me for 3 years the landlord wins and I have no idea what I did wrong my health is not healthy enough to stay in a shelter they won't take pets anyway I cannot surrender my cat that would kill me I've had him 16 years and I lost his twin sister because the landlords used the wrong pesticide and made us all sick and because she was the littlest one she didn't make it my mother died of a heart attack my father died of prostate cancer my brother died of testicle cancer I'm the only one left. That alll happened during the first year of the pandemic with my cat dying and I've never have proper time to grieve because I've always been in survival mode of being harassed and bullied by my landlord constantly having maintenance issues that they refuse to fix and so on and so forth that's why I'm still currently under post-traumatic stress in need of a guardian to help me make decisions because I apparently make all the wrong ones.
I don't even know how I got there I'm here in stupid ass Colorado where it is a 100-percent landlord state and tenants have no rights whatsoever. I even told the judge I didn't understand clearly what I was there for and what they wanted because I was ambushed by everyone by the last-minute changes that I was never privy to I didn't have time to prepare but apparently that's legal even when you don't understand what is being told to you.
Anyway I had a panic attack in the courtroom and was told to lay down on the floor like a dog several times until I did it that was incredibly embarrassing and humiliating . I tried several times to leave the courtroom to go to the restroom to deal with it privately but I was just told to lay on the floor and they kept saying it until I did it.
I submitted and I didn't even know that's what I was doing I can't properly defend myself anymore and I don't know what to do or who to turn to clearly thought I would win my case it if they would abide by the law I would have . I only owe for February's rent and they are evicting me before the month is even over And they refuse to take my full monthly payment today.
Please help any suggestions? I don't even know how to file a small claims court against these people because they will give you all the resources you can possibly dream up to do what you want but I don't have the legal know how to do it in the right way so my case won't be thrown out because I filed things wrong or for the wrong person or whatever. Nobody will help me do that.
