Great video. I prepare my dasheen bush the same way but a nice tip you could try is rubbing some lime or lemon on your hands before peeling the stems and it will prevent the staining.

Learned that trick as well but in these times, lime is now Mr. Lime in the market! :D

Thanks for the wonderful recipe...i tried it using spinach because cant get my hands on callaloo bush here in Florida...i am so impressed with how the rosemary made this dish so much sweeter....its like it bought the flavor of the bush out more and not compete with it the way the thyme does. Try it guys...best callaloo I ever made. Simple perfection...thank you

    • @eatahfood

Mmhmm! Hi,that callaloo looks so rich & tasty, perfect recipe. I love all your videos, you always do such a great job. Thanks for sharing your bandania salt recipe & method,I learn alot from you. I was watching your video on your favourite herbs & spices you use in the kitchen & I see you like cooking with bay leaf. I myself love bay leaf & I came up with a spice blend which includes bay leaf & can be used for both cooking & baking. It's half teaspoon of ground cinnamon with quarter teaspoon of ground bay leaf & quarter teaspoon of ground nutmeg. I call it TRINI MIXED SPICE. To grind the bay leaves, wash & dry them in the oven or naturally, then blend them into a powder using a coffee grinder. It works wonders, please try it & let me know what you think.
