Nothing like a clean organized shop to keep you motivated to be in it. Great ideas and results. I can already see Mike's return next year on his food plots and new water holes. You can pull anything out with a strap and the old lawn mower. Next years plots and duck pond will be great. Heck of a year of improvement, investment and results Joe. Thanks for the uploads.
I've always kept all my implements on rolling platforms. It really helps when moving things around the shop. It also helps attaching them to the tractor as you can roll the implement up to the tractor instead of trying to back the tractor up to the implement and get the alignment perfect. You were also very smart to keep the platform high enough off the floor that it can still be picked up and moved with pallet forks. I did the same with mine. It gives you the best of both worlds. You can easily roll them around the shop and just as easily pick them up and load them on a trailer or something.
Obviously Iron Mike is skilled in the K.I.S.S. method of doing things...with impressive results. Like I'm often told--that'll certainly be good enough for who its for. How about it Kapper??
Next time you need wheels like those just go to Harbor Freight and they seem to have nicer wheel for quite a bit cheaper price. And they seem to have plenty in stock. And if you watch the sale adds then you save a buck or two depending which week's add it is... I keep at least 8 on hand because I never know when I'm going to need them, and there's not always someone that can take me there to get some... I love Mike's idea he sure is a thinking man... Be blessed... BBE
That's pretty smart. Now if he can figure out something to power assist pushing them around the shop. You know when the Kapper back is dysfunctional and no yard hand available.
Road warrior, You have Joe pegged...I'm expecting several texts this coming year---hey, can you come on over and give me a hand?? ...Sure Joe, be glad to.... lol
Great idea for moving the implements around the shop with ease. Great work Joe and Iron Mike! Merry Christmas Joe and Sharon and best wishes for the New Year! Darren
Hey Kap, good idea, glad I thought of it (sort of).. I buy the larger furniture dollies from Harbor Freight and use one or two under larger stuff in my shop and just leave them in place. If you wait for a sale they are a great price. But it's ok if you want to take credit.... 😉 I won't tell. You guys have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
LOL well it was Mike's idea and if he's been creeping around on your channel and saw this we'll have to talk to him under the bus :-) Merry Christmas man
Good luck! Yes, I've had to modify several implements so the quick attach can slide on with the same settings. I did some welding on the top link connection to make them all work nicely.
@@kapperoutdoors Thanks! From 1979-1985 I lived on Rocky Comfort Rd, Makanda, just south of the refuge - the last property before the creek that crossed the road just north. I think it is now a vinyard/winery.

Thanks Ed, yeah it's been a long year for sure but we sure did get a lot of stuff done
The disc may need some blocking so when you push on it you don't push it right off the dolly. Good idea.
Yeah I figured I might need just a little tweaking after I use them a couple times

and with them being off the floor, you can use a blower and blow the crap right out from under them and out the shop.
Thanks man I appreciate it Mike sure did a solid on this one looking forward to it now !

Dang man come on now it's Sunday morning and I'm just relaxing and all of a sudden my back hurts! LOL
Shop is looking great. Nice way to store all your attachments.
The Kapper & Iron Mike Team do it again. Nicely done guys. 👍

lol, yep, I'm sure I can fit something else in there!
Looks good kap, i made one for my bushhog , about 2ft wide it just goes under the front, out of 2x4s and it pushes around real easy to store
Rodger that I'm glad he thought of it now before I was halfway in the grave :-) this should work out quite well
That is awesome man! That’s got to be super convenient, I’m diggin it haha. Thanks for sharing man, hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Haha but didn't somebody say they want to take Megatron out for a spin? Get ready for a couple of calls this spring!
Good job guys. These rolling decks will make selecting implements so much easier now, won't it?
lol, yep for sure!

What an awesome idea ;)
Great idea!
Good idea, you can get more equipment in a smaller barn that way. Stay warm.
Yep it really worked out well thank you
Definitely making a couple of those carts. Have you had to modify your quick hitch for any of your implements? Thanks for the great video!
Good luck! Yes, I've had to modify several implements so the quick attach can slide on with the same settings. I did some welding on the top link connection to make them all work nicely.
Should make your trifecta cart hold the forks on the side so you can get to your bucket without pulling the forks out of the way
Good idea! Maybe its pretty arbitrary, but do you like one diameter caster size more than the other between the 3" and 5"?
Thanks! They have worked well, but it's been a bit since I used one, but I believe the bigger tires were better. Have a good one.
@@kapperoutdoors Appreciate it, and likewise!
are the plans on your website? and have you had any problem with the quick hitch being unable to raise enough?
Sorry no plans out there, and no issues with the 3 point raising enough. Best of luck, thanks

carpenter Mike
Make a light weight dolly just for the forks, just 2x4 and wheels, Sooner or later you will get tired of moving them to get that bucket.
U need More stuff !!!!!!!
LOL do you think so? :-)
We used to make similar carts but found over time they break down so nnow we make them out of metal tubing.
Yeah I can see that working out pretty good but I'll give them a while and see how things go. Thanks
That's what I'm talking about you can move that equipment now with ease
looks great works good! when u decide to rebuild them outa metal and make them pallet style and stackable give me a holler old man!! lol
@@michaelwalker1780 I'll do that
